Update on the Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff wrestling project
Feb 21, 2008 - 10:52 AM

Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are discussing the idea of launching a wrestling-themed reality show. This might be the project that Hogan was referring to in the UK Sun interview last week. They are pitching the concept through the production company Bischoff and Jason Hervey.

Powell’s POV: The idea is to have celebrities train to be professional wrestlers. Assuming this was the project that Hogan was referring to in the Sun interview, his comments were very misleading. Keep in mind that he was quoted as saying, “The basic idea will be the same as WWE, but I pray to god it’s nothing like what’s on TV now.”

Hogan also noted in an MTV interview (read our coverage here) that he would like to face Ric Flair at WrestleMania, so you can be sure that some of the comments he made to the Sun were an attempt to get Vince McMahon’s attention.

This original source for the above news was Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.
