Carlito comments on asking for his release from WWE, hopes the problems has been resolved
Mar 11, 2008 - 10:13 AM

Carlito confirmed reports that he asked for his WWE release late last year during an interview posted at Phillyburbs.com. “Those weren’t rumors, it was all true,” Carlito said. “I going in a different direction than I wanted to and you know things that happen. We were having a falling out but the problems got resolved, hopefully. We’ll just take it from there.”

Powell’s POV: Hopefully? It sounds like Carlito may not be completely satisfied that his creative concerns have been addressed. He’s at least on the WrestleMania 24 card this year, whereas he was in a dark match opener at last year’s event. In case you missed it, you can find out what Carlito was planning to do when he asked for his release by reading last month’s Dot Net Exclusive news item.
