Rather, it’s called “glima wrestling.” David sent word after I posted the two previous stories that glima wrestling doesn’t take place inside a ring. Rather, the sport involves takedowns on a hard wooden surface. You might not be impressed by the action, but the closeup camera shot of Trish’s backside is a nice consolation prize. For the record, I didn't mean to overhype Trish taking part in this exhibition. I didn't realize what "glima wrestling" was until David emailed me after I posted those first two stories. I'll sign up for a class on Icelandic wrestling terms, which I'm sure they offer at my local community center, so that something like this doesn't happen again.
