WWE's pyrotechnics blamed for woman's fatal asthma attack
Jul 4, 2013 - 09:56 AM

The family of Susan Prim's lawsuit against Capital Improvement Board, the city of Indianapolis, Pacers Basketball, LLC, Conseco Fieldhouse, World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. and pyrotechnic and entertainment companies will be allowed to move forward after the Indiana Court of Appeals ruled that the defendant's list stands.

The family is suing due to a fatal asthma attack she suffered at the 2008 WWE SummerSlam event that was held in Indianapolis, claiming that the attack was caused by pyro used at the event. Powell's POV: The case had been appealed by some of the defendants, as they were trying to be removed from the list. We will follow this case as it moves forward and provide any updates as it moves slowly through the court system.
