***The following are the quarter-hour ratings for Monday's WWE Raw 1000 television show.

Q4: 3.5 rating - A.J. and Layla backstage with the legends, Brodus Clay entrance and Dude Love appearance, Clay vs. Jack Swagger, Triple H backstage with Trish Stratus and DX

Q5: 3.9 rating - Slick presides over the A.J. and Daniel Bryan wedding, Vince McMahon out to announce A.J. as the new general manager

Q6: 4.3 rating - Daniel Bryan and C.M. Punk in the ring, The Rock out for in-ring segment with Bryan and Punk and the Royal Rumble title shot announcement

Q7: 3.7 rating - Bret Hart as guest ring announcer, The Miz vs. Christian, multiple commercial breaks

Q8: 3.9 rating - Charlie Sheen via Skype, Regis Philbin video, Triple H, Paul Heyman, and Stephanie McMahon segment

Q9: 4.0 rating - Brock Lesnar attacks Triple H, video game feature, Mr. McMahon and Steve Austin feud video, two commercial breaks

Q10: 4.0 rating - Santino Marella and Hornswoggle out briefly, Howard Finkel introduces the Heath Slater and Lita match, APA and legends out, Sean Mooney interviews Daniel Bryan backstage

Q11: 4.2 rating - Cole interviews social media follower Alex Guerrero Jr., Zack Ryder, John Cena, and Gene Okerlund backstage, The Rock and John Cena backstage interaction, Kane entrance, Jinder Mahal leads a group of wrestlers to the ring, Undertaker arrives and helps Kane clear the group from the ring

Q12: 3.9 rating - Rally highlights, Sheen via Skype, main event entrances, C.M. Punk vs. John Cena, two commercial breaks

Overrun: 4.4 rating - Punk vs. Cena continuation, Big Show interference, Rock makes the save, Punk attacks The Rock

Powell's POV: WWE Raw 1000 was the most watched show on cable and the third most watched show on all of television on Monday. The show drew an average of 6.04 million viewers for the full three-hour program. It's worth noting that The Rock's return drew the second best quarter-hour rating within the three-hour show and only the overrun did a better number. The quarter-hour rating for Punk vs. Cena doesn't look good upon first glance, but the fact that there were two commercial breaks in that quarter is significant, plus the match continued into the highly rated overrun.
