He was not taken into custody but was ordered to appear in court on July 8 to face misdemeanor charges. The charges against Helms stem from an incident on May 6 in which fellow bar patron Dustin Narron allegedly struck him in the face. Helms failed an assault warrant against Narron, who was arrested that morning. To read the full story, click here.
