WWE wrestler charged with assault

Gregory Helms was served with a criminal summons on Thursday and charged with assault and battery, according to the WTSB radio website. He was not taken into custody but was ordered to appear in court on July 8 to face misdemeanor charges.

The charges against Helms stem from an incident on May 6 in which fellow bar patron Dustin Narron allegedly struck him in the face. Helms failed an assault warrant against Narron, who was arrested that morning. To read the full story, click here.

Powell's POV: Based on initial reports, it seemed like Helms was sucker punched by Narron. There's either more to the story or Narron is suing Helms for having a hard head. Stay tuned.
