Assuming that was the case, I can only imagine that Mayweather would have turned on MVP at the end of that tag match, just as Evander Holyfield did when he served as the special guest referee of an MVP vs. Matt Hardy boxing match. I definitely think WWE made the right call to feature Mayweather as a babyface and I’m surprised they would even consider approaching it any other way.
