WWE Raw Hits
C.M. Punk, John Cena, and Big E Langston vs. The Shield: A good match that gave Big E Langston some rub. The finish was ridiculous since the referee disqualified Roman Reigns for breaking up a pin just moments after John Cena broke up a pin. Still, it was a good match to close this wretched show.
The Wyatt Family vs. Daniel Bryan, Goldust, and Cody Rhodes: The usual good match involving the Rhodes brothers. I like the way the match kept the Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan feud going, while also adding steam to the Goldust and Cody Rhodes vs. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan feud.
The Great Khali: I never want to see Christmas caroling contests on a pro wrestling show or even on a sports entertainment show, but Khali's "fa la la" was enough to keep the crowd happy. Hey, it's Christmas. Khali gets one gift Hit per year.
WWE Raw ChristMisses (see what I did there?)
"Bad Santa" Damien Sandow vs. "Good Santa" Mark Henry: Your intellectual savior tried and failed to operate a fire extinguisher not once but twice in the same match. As I asked on Twitter last night, if Sandow had been successful in canceling Christmas, does that mean Jesus would have known what Leap Year babies go through?
Bad News Barrett: Shouldn't the heel who steels holiday donations be shown up by the end of the Christmas themed show? Congratulations to WWE for numbing me into submission. Normally, I would vent about how much Barrett is being wasted. Sadly, I've reached the point where I just accept their incompetence when it comes to the way they book the talented Wade Barrett.
The Bella Twins, Natalya, Eva Marie, Cameron, and Naomi vs. Tamina, Alicia Fox, Kaitlyn, Aksana, and Vickie Guerrero: Does anyone care about the lopsided feud between the Total Divas cast and the other Divas? Wasn't it previously established that A.J. Lee is the only person who still cares about this? And with her character so dismissive of the match on commentary, that means she doesn't care either. In other words, I can answer my own question. Absolutely no one cares about the feud between the Total Divas cast and the other Divas. Whatever happened to JoJo?
Fandango vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Present on a Pole match: Was this Vince McMahon's way of saying Merry Christmas to Vince Russo? Probably not, it's the holidays so I'm just going to pretend that it was a nice holiday gesture.
