Death of man pushed by former AWA owner Verne Gagne ruled a homicide
Feb 25, 2009 - 11:21 AM |
The Hennepin County medical examiner's office has ruled that the death of Helmut Gutmann, the 97 year-old man who was pushed by former AWA owner Verne Gagne, is a homicide. The report says that Guttman died of complications from a broken hip suffered after he was pushed at a nursing home on January 26. Gagne was not mentioned in the report, but he is accused of pushing the man.
Powell's POV: The Bloomington Police Department is still investigating. For those who haven't been following along, Gagne suffers from Alzheimer's related dementia and has no memory of the incident.
