Two men described as "hardcore wrestling fans" were arrested on Friday in South Charleston, W. Va. after doctors phoned police due to the severity of the injuries suffered by a two year-old girl who had been in their care. Andrew Young and James Miller were charged with child neglect creating the risk of injury when doctors discovered the girl suffered severe bruising and a fractured leg.

The duo claims they were wrestling with the girl earlier in the week. "I choke slammed her," Young claims. "But I didn't hurt her. She didn't cry after that." Miller claimed they were playing and it was nothing they hadn't done before.

"Apparently they're both huge wrestling fans and they even claim the two-year-old was a fan and enjoyed doing these things with them," detective A.R. Gordon told WSAZ-TV. Powell's POV: The story makes out Young and Miller to be complete yokels, as they were said to be upset that they were missing the pro wrestling show that night, and one yelled "Love you maw maw, I'm famous," to a television camera. Furthermore, they were hoping to post bond quickly enough to see themselves on the news. If the duo is guilty, here's hoping they encounter really big cell mates who perform wrestling moves, among other things, on them while referring to them as "maw maw."
