11/6 WWE Raw in Newcastle, England: Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, and Cody Rhodes, The Miz vs. MVP and Kofi Kingston for the U.S. Championship

WWE Raw house show
Newcastle, England
report by Dot Net reader Kevin McLurey

1. Santino Marella beat Chavo Guerrero. Santino finished him off with MMA (Marella Martial Arts) as he called it pre match
Good match for what it was, lots of Santino silliness, won after Chavo missed the frog splash.

2. Sheamus beat Primo. I used this match as a chance to get some more beer. Sheamus had massive heel heat though, especially for someone with minimal TV exposure.

3. Paul Burchill beat The Hurricane. Sadly no Katie Lea. Me and my friend, Beansy, very disappointed with this.

4. Mark Henry beat Chris Masters. Nothing noteworthy, apart from three or four renditions of the "Chris Masters Booby Dance."

5. Jack Swagger beat Evan Bourne. A good back and forth match with some good moves from both. Hopefully this feud moves onto TV.

Intermission

6. Melina beat Alicia Fox. I'm not sure what happened. I went to buy an HBK hat when this match was announced. It's a good hat. I'm wearing it now.

7. The Miz beat Kofi Kingston and MVP to retain the U.S. Championship. The Miz tried to do his usual speach about being awesome, but the mic broke. Twice. Well recovered by the Miz!

8. DX and John Cena beat Legacy. HHH said the crowd was welcome to slap the ring announcer for the lousy microphone, and the music guy because he played Cena's music before HBK got to do his "If you're not down with that" bit.

Overall a good show. Top cheers definitely go to Cena, DX, Mark Henry and Kofi Kingston. Best heel heat has to go to The Miz and Sheamus.
