Dot Net WWE News: Why the Booker T negotiations fell apart
Jan 11, 2010 - 01:01 PM

Booker T was close to returning to WWE. However, he asked for a deal that included a very limited number of house show dates. A well-placed source notes that Booker asked for "an HBK-style deal," which led to negotiations falling apart.

Powell's POV: There had been a lot of buzz that Booker was likely to be an entrant in the Royal Rumble. I suppose they could resume negotiations, but Booker is currently taking indy bookings through Bill Behrens at showbis@aol.com.

Dot Net members received the first look at this news on Friday. They are currently listening to a three-hour interview with former WWE creative team member Court Bauer and the Dot Net Weekly audio show, which has exclusive news items that have not been discussed anywhere else.
