Hulk Hogan teases Steve Austin, Randy Savage, and other former WWE wrestlers as possible additions for TNA
Nov 9, 2009 - 02:56 PM |
Hulk Hogan appeared on Bubba The Love Sponge's radio show on Monday morning and mentioned Steve Austin and Randy Savage as wrestlers who could be joining him in TNA. He also mentioned The Nasty Boys as possible additions, and told Bubba The Love Sponge that he needed to find out how serious the radio show host is about having a role on the creative team with him. [Thanks to Brian Fritz of BetweenTheRopes.com.
Powell's POV: At this point, there's no reason to believe Hogan is going to be booking the show. Yes, he'll have creative control over his own character, but there's a big difference between that and actually booking the company. Austin is a pipe dream, and there's no telling whether Savage has any interest in working at this point in his career. Of course, The Nasty Boys are longtime friends with Hogan, so that's at least possible.
