WWE "ECW on Syfy" Hits

Jack Swagger being treated like a superstar: Swagger came out and delivered a solid promo to start the show. He's not main event ready in terms of promos, but he is better than Sheamus. Throughout the night, he was treated like a huge star because of his inclusion in so many segments. I still have hopes for Swagger.

Swagger vs. Yoshi Tatsu: I thought this match was decent at best, but I listed it here because of Swagger's involvement. I am just not a huge fan of Yoshi. He's relatively enjoyable, but his kicks and overall offense are very soft. On top of that, he looked awkward at times bumping for Swagger in this match. I'm hoping with Jack's loss, he will go back to Raw and become more of a threat.

Christian: Week in and week out, Christian is the MVP of this show. He deserves better and as everyone who knows me knows, I think Christian is World Championship material. He was hilarious in small doses on the show, especially in his backstage interaction with Swagger. I hope he gets a better hand dealt to him very soon.

Announce team: Not a whole lot to say here, but this team has gelled very well. They aren't spectacular; but they are very solid. In my opinion, consistency is better than very good at times and shitty at other times.

WWE "ECW on Syfy" Misses

The Abraham Washington Show: They should book all of the divas on this show and get all of the crap out of the way in one segment. Sad thing is: WWE has talented divas and they just do not care at all about how they book them. However, they seem to care about this crap and we will just continue to see it tank every week.

Goldust vs. Vance Archer: When Archer was Lance Hoyt in TNA, I thought he should have wrestled with a shirt or singlet because a tramp stamp looks funny on a guy. My opinion hasn't changed at all. It looks worse than Batista's belly button tat. On top of that, I'm just not excited about him right now. It's a shame too because he can go if he got the chance to show it.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Zack Ryder: Short and unmemorable match that could be Dreamer's last in WWE. I hope Ryder ends up winning the ECW Championship because he has shown how much charisma and potential he has. As for Dreamer, I'd be surprised not to see him in TNA and he did more in WWE than anyone could have ever hoped. Best of luck to him.
