WWE "ECW on Syfy" Hits

C.M. Punk and William Regal vs. Christian and R-Truth: Nice, entertaining main event that allowed all four me to show their strengths. It's easy to forget the type of talent Truth has when he is thrown into three minute matches, but when he is working with top names over a ten minute period, he can really show something. Christian, Regal, and Punk were there usual solid selves.

Hurricane vs. Paul Burchill: I was fearing they would keep the mystery going by have in a fake Hurricane wrestle and lose the match, but I'm glad they went with this route. Hurricane is a fun character for the fans and Burchill should be on a better show. I hope this is the beginning of better things for both men.

Zack Ryder, Rose Mendes, and Shelton Benjamin: Not sure if I am in the minority here, but I am really enjoying this program. It is a midcard program that has a lot of intrigue to it. These three could be floundering around ECW doing nothing, but instead, they are involved in an interesting storyline.

WWE "ECW on Syfy" Misses

Vance Archer: For the second week in a row, I just was not all that impressed with him. I see what WWE sees, but like I said before, when I see a guy like this, the bar was set very high with Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, and Matt Morgan. I don't see that in this guy right now. He could get there and I hope he does.

Christian and C.M. Punk: I did not like the interaction because the heel got the best of the babyface. Sure, Christian is currently a champion and Punk is not, but Christian is holding a belt that Punk graduated from. Punk has been a world champion multiple times, not to mention a tag and Intercontinental Champion since being the ECW Champion. That is hardly something for Christian to brag about.
