TNA No Surrender preview and predictions: Can Kurt Angle retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against three hungry opponents? Will Samoa Joe and Daniels steal the show? Who will become the first women's tag team champions?
Sep 20, 2009 - 12:02 PM

The following predictions are made without any inside knowledge of the match finishes. I am guessing just like you are.

Kurt Angle vs. Matt Morgan vs. A.J. Styles vs. Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: It seems pretty apparent TNA is going with Angle vs. Morgan and Styles vs. Sting at Bound for Glory. One of these two matches will be for the TNA Title. Styles winning and defending against Sting seems to be the popular pick, but I think that match has enough to take place with a championship involved. Thus, I predict Angle retaining and defending against Morgan at BFG.

Samoa Joe vs. Daniels for the X Division Championship: I mentioned on DNW how disappointed I was with the buildup to this match. I hope they give them more than ten minutes and I hope they tear the house down like we all know they are capable of doing. Unless they plan to thrust Samoa Joe into the main event scene for the biggest pay-per-view of the year, I don’t see a title change here. Joe retains.

Beer Money vs. Team 3D vs. The British Invasion vs. Scott Steiner and Booker T in a Lethal Lockdown match: I know neither set of tag team titles are up for grabs (at least I think I know that). Beyond that, I’ll be honest, I’m not sure if a team has to win or if one person can win. I’ll go with a team and say Beer Money will win this match.

Bobby Lashley vs. Rhino: Rhino’s promo on Thursday’s Impact was the best segment on the show and it made this match relevant, instead of what it was presented as, which was a Lashley pay-per-view squash. Lashley will still win the match, but Rhino will have a nice showing.

ODB vs. Cody Deaner for the vacant TNA Knockout Championship: I will show confidence in TNA and predict this being the end of this silly program. If Deaner wins the belt, a lot of people are going to be pissed (standing up or sitting down). ODB will finally win the women’s championship in TNA, although I don’t guarantee she will have the belt come BFG.

The Beautiful People vs. Taylor Wilde and Sarita for the TNA Women’s Tag Team Championships: Under normal circumstances, I would confidently pick my favorite act in TNA to win the belts. However, given Angelina Love’s situation and TNA’s love for Taylor Wilde, I will predict a title victory for the babyface team.

Kevin Nash vs. Abyss for the TNA Legends Championship: Nash also has the opportunity to cash in on Dr. Stevie’s $50,000 bounty. I was watching WWE Classics on Demand and saw the old Blue World Order with Stevie playing “Big Stevie Cool.” Thus, it’s cool (and weird) to see Stevie and Nash together. Oh yeah, Nash will retain the title and Mick Foley will have something to do with it. Foley vs. Abyss at BFG.

Eric Young vs. Hernandez: If Jason or I was booking the show, Hernandez would win, the World Elite would go away, and Young would be repackaged. However, I’m guessing we will get Hernandez vs. Homicide at BFG, so Young will win this match with the assistance of his newest stable mate.

Check back tonight at Dot Net as Jason Powell will cover the show as it airs. Whether or not you purchase the show, feel free to follow along with Jason.
