WWE Smackdown Hitlist: Undertaker and C.M. Punk promo, Punk vs. Matt Hardy, John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler, JeriShow, Kane and Great Khali, Finlay's shillegleh, divas, kiss-ass Teddy Long

WWE Smackdown Hits
Undertaker and C.M. Punk promo: After Taker surprisingly appeared on the show in the last two minutes last week in his "scheduled return," it was nice to see him get some extended time to promote his match. Taker is obviously not the prototypical promo guy, but this worked. Punk was great again; this time using the same formula he did with Jeff Hardy, but inserting Taker in there. He is reminding me of how great Chris Jericho was in his feud with Shawn Michaels in 2008.
C.M. Punk vs. Matt Hardy: I enjoyed the match and I especially enjoying the booking of the match. Punk is the strong World Champion who needs to continue looking strong. Making Matt Hardy tap heading into a submission match with the Undertaker is smart booking. Punk vs. Taker should be a very good match and it has been hyped well.
John Morrison vs. Charlie Haas: I know it was basically a three minute squash, but Haas is a great worker so it was a fun match. I liked that they gave Morrison and Dolph Ziggler some promo time. Maybe WWE really didn't want to rush into their first IC Title match together.
JeriShow vs. Cryme Tyme: If there were a couple more teams in WWE, the tag belts would be gaining some positive momentum. Unfortunately, it is two steps forward and eventually, it will be two steps back. Jericho and Show have been great with the belts and I like when champions win non-title matches. It makes them look even stronger. Cryme Tyme looked good in defeat as the two teams work well together.
WWE Smackdown Misses
Kane and the Great Khali: Yes, they are hyping to their cane match at the pay-per-view. I just don't want to see it. Kane can work with and get just about anyone over. Khali is popular with the live crowd (believe me, I saw and heard it with my own eyes and ears) but he is not going to sell shows. I just want the feud to end already.
Finlay vs. Mike Knox: I want Knox to start winning matches. If he ends up getting the best of Finlay down the line, I'll be okay with wins like this one for Finlay. I am just getting tired of the shillegleh. I believe I started typing that exact sentence a year or so ago. At least he could legally use it during this match.
Everything involving the divas: I feel bad for the women on the show because they are feuding 90210 style over Dolph "Dylan McKay" Ziggler. I know not every storyline can be as simple as "feud over title," but that should at least be the foundation of every feud.
Teddy Long and Vince McMahon: Long kissing Vince's ass is nauseating. I guess Vince didn't keep the onscreen ejaculation of himself by one of his employees specific to the young females. I'm curious about the announcement and have a feeling it will coincide with Batista's.
