TNA Impact Hitlist: Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Jarrett and A.J. Styles, Main Event Mafia, Tara and Kong vs. The Beautiful People, tag teams, Kevin Nash, Mick Foley, Matt Morgan, Abyss

TNA Impact Hits
Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Jarrett and A.J. Styles: I enjoyed the buildup to the match after Jarrett announced it and the match itself was easy to enjoy. Sting's return was predictable but also well done. The Mafia still looks awfully strong, but Sting, Styles, Jarrett, Daniels, and others will provide a legitimate challenge for power in TNA.
Awesome Kong and Tara vs. The Beautiful People: I love the fact they did not tease any dissension between Kong and Tara just yet. I want to see a slow build to Bound for Glory with the Tara vs. Kong match. The Beautiful People usually provide one of the best segments of the show and this was no exception.
TNA tag team division: Team 3D faced Booker T and Scott Steiner for a chance at the titles held by Beer Money. Sheik Abdul Bashir and Kiyoshi came out and fought with Beer Money. The British Invasion interfered in the match finish. Those are five teams right there involved in the tag team title picture. LAX and the Motor City Machine Guns were not even included. The division is flourishing right now.
Kevin Nash interview: Yeah, he comes across as an asshole in a time of economic crisis. However, he is honest and I can definitely respect that. Whether if it is Nash, his character, or both, I like the fact that he says what everyone else is thinking.
TNA Impact Misses
Mick Foley: Did anyone else cringe when Foley took a shot at Kurt Angle at the beginning of the show? Sure Mick, you are going to beat up Angle and the entire Mafia. Foley used to make a name for himself when he took massive beatings or took huge bumps, but getting the crap kicked out of you for no good reason is not logical.
Matt Morgan: I do not want to see this guy in the Mafia. Well, I sort of want to see him there because I think he is a star waiting to happen, but I think he needs the vehicle that is the Mafia. So, I don't think he is not ready right now, but I think he needs it to become ready. So, I guess Morgan is TNA's catch-22.
Abyss: I never liked the "pissed off" wrestler looking for someone because it gives the idea that everyone is put into a deep sleep in between television shows. Also, if Richards is not going to work, Abyss should not be feuding with him. Raven should have been retained because he was fantastic during that last run.
Cody Deaner: I mentioned in my report that Deaner could be a fun lower card act, but I just don't see it. I'm not a fan of the redneck character and I think ODB is being misused here. Who knows? Maybe Deaner will end up being really popular, but I just don't see it getting off of the ground. I would love to see ODB back in the women's division after all of this.
