WWE Superstars Hits

Chris Jericho vs. John Morrison: Would anyone else be happy to see this as a World Heavyweight Championship program in the very near future? Superstars continues to be one of those shows where you can turn your brain off and enjoy some damn good wrestling. This was about as good as it gets in terms of a one on one television match. Not sure if that was a test run for Morrison, but if it was, he passed. Great match.

Evan Bourne vs. Zack Ryder: Nice to see two ten minute plus matches on the show and nice to see Bourne win a hard fought match. Ryder's character is not for everyone but I dig it and he and Bourne work well together. Interesting to see if this too was a test run and whether or not we see more of these two in the future on Tuesday night.

Kofi Kingston video: Kingston has a lot of star power and little videos like these are fantastic in building him to an audience that may not be aware of him. This is one of those little things that go a long ways.

Overall show: Cannot complain about a show with that main event and another solid match. This show is very smart in the sense that they can possibly get people to watch all three brands by exposing them to talent from those shows. If someone does not watch Smackdown or ECW, they might begin to because of what they see on this show.

WWE Superstars Misses

Beth Phoenix and Rosa Mendez vs. Brie and Nikki Bella: Well, not everything on the show is usually going to impress. It is sad how far Beth has fallen but hopefully her actually wrestling again will propel her back into the title picture on Monday night. Here is hoping.
