WWE Extreme Rules preview and predictions: Will Edge retain his title against his long term rival Jeff Hardy? Will Batista finally get the best of Randy Orton? Will Chris Jericho avenge his loss to Rey Mysterio?

These predictions are made by me without any knowledge of the match finishes. I'm guessing just like you are.
Edge vs. Jeff Hardy in a ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship: This may not go on last, but anyone happy with the WWE product right now most likely feels that way because of Smackdown. Make no mistake about it; this is the main event of the show. I predict this match will live up to every expectation, and then some, and Edge will retain the title.
Randy Orton vs. Batista in a steel cage match for the WWE Championship: This could be a lot of fun given the cage stipulation. This is also my "upset pick" of the show as I think Batista will win the title. The ratings are down, I doubt anyone wants to see a Triple H vs. Randy Orton feud over the title, so when H comes back, they can just feud, Vince loves Batista, and there were no major title changes at the last pay-per-view.
Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. Jack Swagger in an Extreme Rules match for the ECW Championship: Dreamer will retire if he does not win the belt and the buildup has been very entertaining. Dreamer is not going to win. I doubt Christian is going over Swagger on three straight pay-per-views, so I'll predict Swagger will win back the ECW Title. Dreamer will take the pinfall and be given a great ovation before he leaves the ring.
Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho in a no holds barred match for the Intercontinental Championship: This is a tough one to call. What we know is that it will be a great match. Logically, especially after Rey winning last month and Jericho going after his mask since then, Jericho will win the title here and Mysterio will put up his mask in an attempt to get his belt back. I'll go with that.
John Cena vs. Big Show in a submission match: I've got heels winning up and down the card here. I would like to think Show will go over here and if he does, he will knock Cena out and then Cena won't be able to submit. However, the build has been to have Cena overcome yet another set of insurmountable odds. So, Cena will find a way to make Show submit, maybe using a cord or something to apply the STF, like he did to Umaga a couple of years back.
Kofi Kingston vs. MVP vs. William Regal vs. Matt Hardy in a Fatal Four Way match for the United States Championship: Unless they put the belt on Regal or Hardy so Kofi can chase the belt, I Just do not see a title change here. Kofi wins a fun, but forgettable match that will likely open the show.
C.M. Punk vs. Umaga in a Samoan Strap match: This feud has been very entertaining to watch. Punk being the resilient competitor whether he wins or loses would cause me to have Umaga win if I was booking. Then, when Punk wins the title, Umaga could be the instant challenger "Punk couldn't beat." However, I am not booking and I predict Punk will win to end the feud.
Santina vs. Vickie Guerrero in a hog pen match: Well, I guess I have to make a pick here. I'm guessing Vickie will be humiliated but will end up winning anyway. Hopefully, that will put an end to this whole thing and "Santina" will go away.
Jason Powell will be covering the show live as it airs tonight on pay-per-view. Feel free to watch along with him.
