TNA Impact Hits
Sting causes turmoil as the leader of the Main Event Mafia: When Sting pinned Kurt Angle at Sacrifice, I thought to myself, "If the rest of the Mafia has a problem with being led by Sting, why not just leave?" Well, Sting has the long term respect of the entire group, so while they may not like everything Sting is doing, they'll follow him. I'm very curious to see where this goes.
Eric Young heel turn: It's about damn time.
Team 3D Trophy Presentation to Beer Money: I have loved and praised this angle for a few months now. I love the feud between Team 3D and Beer Money. Even more, I have loved the mutual respect, despite face and heel lines being crossed, between the two teams. These four men are going to tear the house down at Slammiversary.
Samoa Joe: I loved his claim that he was ordered to take out the Mafia one by one. I also loved his interactions with AJ Styles later. Joe has been money lately and I hope TNA continues to book him in an appropriate manner.
Raven returns: I am a huge Raven fan so I am thrilled to see him back. There is not much more to it than that.
Lisa Marie Varon joins TNA: I cannot wait to see Lisa challenge for the TNA Knockout Championship. She deserves this.
The Beautiful People: It is nice to see them back together and nice to see them move forward without Cute Kip.
TNA Impact Misses
AJ Styles vs. Daniels: I am taking a different approach this week. Of course these two gave us a solid match. However, this is Styles vs. Daniels. First of all, this match should not be given away on free television. If it is, it should be built up for weeks and given twenty minutes. Secondly, why can't both of these men be in the King of the Mountain match? I hate that Daniels was eliminated here.
Suicide vs. Amazing Red: Again, the match itself was just fine, however, it was not given very long and TNA could have a potential money feud with these two. Why give the match away for nothing?
Shane Douglas returns to TNA: I used to be a big fan of Douglas, but he was stale and done back when he tried to make The Naturals tag team champions for a second time. I hope he comes in a does a great job and if he does, I will gladly point out how wrong I am.
Abyss and Dr. Stevie: Stevie Richards is ridiculously talented, but he is being wasted here. Stevie as the manager of Abyss would have worked just fine and perhaps very well, but this storyline has been close to awful.
