WWE No Mercy pay-per-view preview and predictions: Will Chris Jericho retain his title against Shawn Michaels in a ladder match; will Jeff Hardy finally break through and win the WWE Championship?

The following predictions are predictions only. I have no inside knowledge of what will or may happen at the pay-per-view. These predictions are not possible spoilers. Basically, I am guessing like you are. Now that we are clear, onto the predictions!
Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels in a ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship: This is the most anticipated title match in recent memory. Too bad it is taking place at a throwaway pay-per-view. Both men, through their personal and emotional promos to their always fantastic in ring work, have turned this into one of the best feuds of all time.
If Michaels wins the title, he will have to move on to a feud with somebody besides Jericho (unfortunately). If Jericho wins, he has Batista waiting for him while Michaels can move on and feud with Lance Cade. I like Jericho to retain here with Cade's help. I also like the idea of another title match between these two at Wrestlemania.
Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Championship: Once this match was announced and the way they were advertising it led me to believe at the time that Hardy would finally win the WWE Championship. However, whether it was the airport incident or something else, I have completely changed my mind. The abrupt insertion of Vladimir Kozlov into this feud leads me to believe he will play a role in this match. Triple H retains. Kozlov then lays out both men and sings the Russian National Anthem in a duet with Nikolai Volkoff.
Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry for the ECW Championship: Hardy has been so-so as the ECW Champion. Henry was fantastic as the number one guy on Tuesday night, but has slowed down considerably in terms of entertainment value since dropping the title. My gut tells me that Hardy will either win the match or retain via disqualification, but I am going the other way.
I think Henry will win the title back tonight because wrestling 101 says there is money in the face chasing the heel. In this case, I agree. I would rather see Hardy chase Henry's title than continuing to have Henry make completely valid points about how he should be the champion because he was never beaten for the title. Ideally, Matt Striker will somehow interject himself into the main event and win the title. Now that would be money.
Batista vs. JBL to determine the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship: In going along with my thinking that Batista will be next in line to challenge Chris Jericho for the title, I have him going over here. I guess WWE could throw us a curveball by having JBL vs. Shawn Michaels being the next title feud, but I do not think many people would want to see that. Batista vs. Michaels would be cool if they play off of their history earlier this year. I doubt anyone wants to see JBL in another one on one title feud. The finish will come when Batista distracts JBL with the stock market section of the newspaper before hitting the Batista Bomb for the win.
Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle for the WWE Women's Championship: Beth was already the best thing going in the women's division before joining forces with Santino Marella. I never liked Candice in the ring and never bought her as the champion before. Since her return, she has been horribly underwhelming. I just do not see them putting the title on Candice right now, although I could see it within the next six months. Beth wins and moves onto a feud with Kelly Kelly. Michael Cole will mention about a hundred times that Beth put Candice on the shelf.
The Undertaker vs. Big Show: This feud is not clicking but I do not see them ending it here. I see one of two scenarios happening. Either Taker gets the win but is attacked and laid out by Show after the match, or the match ends in some sort of double disqualification. If any two big men on the roster can put their heads together to have a good match, it is these two. However, I do not see it happening and I am not very intrigued by this match.
Rey Mysterio vs. Kane (if Mysterio loses, he must unmask): I still think it would have been a cool idea to have the stipulation also where if Kane lost, he would have to put his mask back on. It would have been a cool way to get the mask on Kane again. Nonetheless, I would like to think Rey will not lose here. However, they threw out the important stipulation without any fanfare at all. That being said, Rey wins and he exchanges hugs with Evan Bourne.
