ECW Hitlist: Matt Hardy, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, Tiffany, Ricky Ortiz, main event, overall show

I am once again substituting for Jason. He is nearly inconsolable due to the Twins falling short of the American League Central Division championship. I sent him a stripper-gram, but I was told he refused it. Bounce back Jason; there is always next year.
ECW Hits
Jack Swagger: I am leading off with him because he has quickly become an overwhelming highlight of the show. He has a common look and bland theme music, but this guy has it. Never mind the cheesy smile, which is fantastic, Swagger knows how to garner heat with his actions and facial expressions. He is a big guy who has strength and agility in the ring. I also love to hear Matt Striker say his name. That will not get old to me. I cannot wait to see where they go with him.
Matt Hardy's promo: Sure, it was corny, but Hardy did a nice job of showing passion and confidence in his promo. His line about Tony Atlas was awesome and well timed. He will never be a great promo, but if he continues to show improvement, he will continue to become a well rounded performer.
Tiffany: Honestly, I could not tell if she was trying to be ditzy when handling the opening announcements. She sounded more like someone in broadcasting school, but it worked for her. She delivered her lines clearly and naturally. She also looked amazing doing it. She looked hot when she pouted after Henry rejected her handshake offer.
ECW Misses
Ricky Ortiz: Watching Ortiz makes me appreciate Jack Swagger even more. Ortiz does have a distinct look. Ortiz is a face who is trying his best to get over. However, he is not succeeding at all. I am like the fans; I just do not care about this guy. His work in the ring sucks too. If he had a cookie cutter look similar to Braden Walker, he would probably be wished "good luck in his future endeavors" by now.
Mark Henry: Henry was fantastic as the ECW Champion but has tailed off lately. He botched his promo a few times last night and after Hardy made the comments he did about Atlas, he should have gone after him. He looked impressive in his short time in the main event, but I see Hardy retaining at the pay-per-view.
Main event: The main event went nearly twenty minutes and like I said to Jason when I updated him last night, it was average at best. The slow parts were very slow and the exciting parts were too few and far between.
Overall show: WWE is 0 for 2 this week. The show seemed like it was thrown together minutes before it began and the presentation was sloppy and unpolished. From the opening promo to the main event, potentially good segments did not end up being that way at all. I know they are putting all of their eggs this week into Smackdown's basket, but they have to realize that the No Mercy pay-per-view on Sunday is important too.
