Buy or Sell: TNA Bound for Glory, Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett, Sting's microphone work, LAX without Hector Guerrero, Booker T, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, the PAC-10

Today's Rundown: Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle, Sting, Bound for Glory, LAX, Booker T, A.J. Styles, TNA Rough Cuts, Karen's Angle, Samoa Joe, the PAC-10
Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle: How could anyone not buy their segment? Besides the obvious excellence by both men, I hope this is finally the beginning of a change for TNA. Hopefully Jarrett will listen to his veteran superstars and will begin to run the company using their strengths as opposed to trying to emulate WWE.
Sting on the microphone: I am buying Sting's recent work on the microphone. His promos have never been a strong suit and it can even be argued that his promo ability is below average. However, he has been fantastic lately. It is no accident that wrestlers give better promos when they are allowed to speak freely while hitting bullet points.
Bound for Glory: I am buying the way this pay-per-view is shaping up. The card looks extremely solid and the two top bouts could potentially be fantastic. The undercard guys should work very hard and produce some really good bouts. People that want to see TNA succeed will look at this card and hope it is the start of an upward trend for the company.
LAX without Hector Guerrero: I am buying this as well. I am not a fan of Guerrero's character and I never thought he fit in well with LAX. I would have preferred to see LAX kick the shit out of Hector on their way to a massive heel push, but this is okay too. Fans of Homicide know he can cut a promo so hopefully both men will be given the chance to.
Booker T: I continue to buy him. He is absolutely hilarious in calling everyone by their full (or not even real) name. His work in the ring has been very good and for a guy that talked about retiring over the past few years, he seems to have a few more left in him.
A.J. Styles: Unfortunately, I am selling him right now. Styles is not a good promo guy but he is still an amazing worker. TNA needs to play to his strengths. It is a shame that TNA is coming up upon the biggest pay-per-view in their history, and Styles in involved in a directionless feud while Christopher Daniels is dressing up as a human spice.
TNA Rough Cuts: I am overwhelmingly buying these segments. Fans always complain that new wrestlers do not distinguish themselves well enough from other new wrestlers. Beyond that, the creative team sometimes struggles to give wrestlers an identity that fans can relate to. These segments are only a few minutes and they accomplish more than a fifteen minute promo. TNA should continue to showcase their lesser known talents by using these segments.
Karen's Angle: I am selling Karen's show and I am wondering how long TNA will keep her on board. Unless she starts working and without being married to Kurt Angle, I am just not sure what she brings to the company. The sit-down interview segment works in small doses but Karen's show just is not clicking.
Samoa Joe: He is the champion and not the top attraction in the company, so I am selling how he is being booked. Joe is doing a great job with the limited material he has to work with. Here is hoping Joe will still have the title when TNA finally decides to completely strap the rocket to his back.
PAC-10 football fans: I am selling the notion that the PAC-10 is the best conference in the country. They should not be in the same conversation as the SEC. Georgia, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, and Florida are all top fifteen teams. Despite the fact that they will beat each other, they should all finish the season in the top ten to fifteen. USC is still an elite team despite their hiccup, but the rest of the conference is garbage.
