WWE Superstars Hits

Kelly Kelly vs. Gail Kim: A very marginal hit. This was not the best match, but it was solid, and on this show, it was difficult to find anything to get excited about. Gail is still not at the level that she once was, but Kelly is usually fun to watch in the ring. Booking these two together when they are both babyfaces and teaming together on Sunday is weird, but this show was slim pickings.

WWE Supertstars Misses

Eric Escobar and Drew McIntyre vs. Matt Hardy and R-Truth: I was not impressed with this match, especially as the main event of this show. Looking at each guy, Escobar is just someone I do not currently see much in. He could get better. McIntyre needs new theme music, but I think on screen Vince McMahon was correct about him. Hardy seems to be flailing. Truth is not being used right, in my opinion. He has charisma and the crowd loves him, so he should be getting more than he is getting.

Tommy Dreamer and Goldust vs. Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson: Goldust’s work has been fantastic since his move to ECW, but since his feud with Sheamus, he has been put on the back burner a little bit. Kozlov and Jackson are over with Regal, but they are not over in matches. Unfortunately for them, they have to do more than just be muscle. Remember when Kozlov was main eventing pay-per-views with Jeff Hardy and Triple H?

Overall show: Well, one with hit, and a questionable one at that, this show was definitely not a very good one. Logic wise it bothered me too given the finish of the Escobar and McIntyre match coinciding with the Smackdown broadcast.
