The Hangover: WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view the day after with thoughts on Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, and more

-Heading into the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, it seemed relatively obvious what would happen in the two matches bearing the name of the show. Instead, WWE and Vince McMahon threw us a huge curveball. All in all, it was a decent show that provided some memorable moments.

-Why did WWE take the title off Sheamus? This was the surprise of the night. If we get Sheamus vs. Triple H at Mania now, will it be interesting without a championship being involved? I fear Sheamus will be forgotten, but a win against Triple H at Mania would do wonders for him.

-Will Batista defend the WWE Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania? I think so. At this point, I hope so. I do not want to see another Triple Threat or Fatal Four-way match. Cena vs. Batista was rushed into and last night's match was hardly a match. So, they should finally get a chance to do it correctly at Mania.

-If Batista does face Cena, what happens to Bret Hart and Vince McMahon? Will they work a one-on-one match? Will they just be in the corners of Cena and Batista? Will there be a tag team match with the WWE Championship on the line? Heck, will Bret Hart walk out of WrestleMania XXVI with the WWE Championship?

-How great was the demise of Legacy? What happened last night between Ted DiBiase and Randy Orton was very good and should set up a nice one-on-one match at WrestleMania. I am curious to see what WWE does with Cody Rhodes.

-What happens to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania? In the past, the obvious answer would have been "Money in the Bank," but this year, since it seems there will be MITB at Mania, it leaves Kofi's options very slim.

-Could the tag team championships mean any less? Mark Henry and MVP beat Big Show and The Miz in a non-title match, so MVP earns a United States Championship match? While I'm at it, having that title defended on pay-per-view two times in a row without being advertised makes that title look bad too.

-Wouldn't you be pissed too if you were The Undertaker? Give him all the credit in the world for working that match after his pyro nearly barbecued him. Is it too much to ask to not have pyro coming through the middle of the walkway?

-If we get C.M. Punk vs. Rey Mysterio in a hair vs. mask match at Mania, it will be a damn good match and a deserving one for Punk, who has been fantastic. Just like Kofi, what happens to John Morrison? Without MITB, does WWE even get him on the card?

-How bad does WWE need Jim Ross? Raw needs him, Smackdown needs him, but they especially need him on pay-per-view. With the current structure of the announce team, Ross would be able to call the entire pay-per-view, and that is the way it should be. With so many potential WrestleMania moments, Michael Cole will not call them the way they should be called.

-Will Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker II live up to and/or exceed the greatness of the original? I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes. I think both guys will be very passionate about topping last year's match. If JR is calling this match, I think it will go down as another instant classic.

-Chris Jericho is the new World Heavyweight Champion. Should Edge win that title from him at WrestleMania? I say no. Of course, the moment will call for the babyface to get his long awaited vengeance, but I think Jericho should retain the title and really build up Edge as a sympathetic babyface.

-Who is a better heel right now, Punk or Jericho? It really is too bad both guys are not holding the top two championships in WWE right now. If Edge wins the World Title at Mania, he will probably have Jericho and Punk gunning for him. Both men have been so good that I want both of them in the title picture.
