WWE Smackdown Hits

Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett: In a show that contain a lot of great wrestling this was the match of the night. Yes, we've seen Kofi and Wade several times over the past two weeks, but they never seem to have a problem raising their game to bring something new. The other thing they are doing very well is making this look like an actual rivalry. Kofi lost again, but he didn't lose in a squash and it looked like he made a mistake that cost him in the end. I don't know how long they can make this feud last but right now it's very good.

Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro and Big Show: It is still very early but it does look like they are posturing Sheamus and Randy Orton for some sort of confrontation. I had them in a WrestleMania match back in June but hey, sometimes you're just good. In all seriousness, even though the ending of this match was fairly predictable, the match was well wrestled and I like the way they finished the match. I hated to see Cesaro take the pin but Big Show is the World Champion and should be protected.

The Miz vs. Heath Slater: Never in 1 million years did I think Heath Slater would make his way to the Hitlist. Yet he and Miz delivered a very nice Hit on the Friday night show. They were given plenty of time, and Slater took every advantage of it. I still hate the 3MB act, and even Slater's character as a whole, but the kid can work and I hope he gets an opportunity to show that off-again.

WWE Smackdown Misses

Rosa, Primo and Epico vs. Natalya, Khali and Hornswoggle: Believe it or not, I'm not going to complain about Khali and Hornswoggle as much as I am about the women being involved and yet not actually doing anything in this match. Regardless of whether or not I understand what Natalya is doing with Khali, if you're going to put Rosa and her in a match at least let them wrestle.
