Shore's Smackdown Hitlist: The Raw stars show up and drag down the show, Christian vs. Randy Orton in a cage does not disappoint, but Triple H vs. CM Punk on the mic does

WWE Smackdown Hits
Randy Orton vs. Christian: I was bored with the match because of the obvious Orton win that was coming, but these two never fail to entertain me in the ring. Their chemistry has been off the charts since their very first match. And it has continued no matter what stipulation they were thrown in. I should be upset at how far Christian has fallen, but I never saw him as a main event guy anyway so maybe this really isn't creative's fault.
Sin Cara heel turn: The match with Bryan was whatever, but the heel turn was an unexpected surprise. I like it, if for no other reason than it's something different for the character. This is probably setting up a good Sin Cara vs. evil Sin Cara. I'm not sure how you make that work with two guys who look the same and don't speak, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
WWE Smackdown Misses
Triple H vs. CM Punk: Miss is the best word to describe this. It was a hell of a cut at it, but they just missed. There was good intensity, both guys played their part well, and I really did like the physicality once Nash came out. But the segment just never clicked with this viewer. And I can't tell you why. I just remember about halfway through it thinking, "OK, let's move this along." Part of it has to be I feel like they are rushing this match like they did Punk vs. Cena. But the other part was that it just didn't come across like they wanted, for whatever reason.
Raw stars on Smackdown: Anybody else want to argue about how ending the brand split is good for business? Cena's opening segment with Ricardo Rodriguez was good, but because of Ric Rod. And then Cena destroyed Barrett…again. Punk and Hunter ate up half the show with their promo. Granted that was all, but look at how much time those three were given. If the brand split is not enforced, look for even less guys to get TV time and for all of us to get even more tired of the same guys on top.
