The following predictions are made with no knowledge of the planned finishes. In other words, I am guessing based upon what I see from WWE every week.

C.M. Punk vs. John Cena with Triple H as special guest referee to unify the WWE Championship: This entire PPV has revolved around this match. I'm not convinced that is a good thing as this should have planned out over months and months. Nevertheless, the build has been well done, and I am looking forward to another long match from these two. The feel won't be the same in LA that it was in Chicago, but the crowd should still be ready for what I expect to be a well wrestled match. Look for Hunter to do something that causes an end to this match, but in an accidental way, and for C.M. Punk to walk out as undisputed champion.

Prediction: C.M. Punk wins the undisputed WWE Championship.

Christian vs. Randy Orton in a no holds barred match for the World Heavyweight Championship: This was the hottest feud in WWE until it lost its way and Punk stole the show on Raw. I have been very disappointed in how Christian has been booked, and this past Friday was no exception. Still, Christian said he has an ace up his sleeve, and I tend to believe he does. I have no idea what it might be, but I do expect Christian to use whatever it is to retain the title.

Prediction: Christian retains the World Heavyweight Championship

Beth Phoenix vs. Kelly Kelly for the WWE Diva's Championship: Beth and Natalya have done more in the past three weeks to capture my attention than any Diva (excluding Kharma) in probably two years. For that reason alone I think we have a title change here to setup whatever grand plan new agent Dustin Rhodes has for the women.

Prediction: Beth Phoenix wins the WWE Diva's Championship.

Sheamus vs. Mark Henry: This is arguably the best booked feud on the entire card. The WWE title scene has been done well, but it suffers from the fact we just saw those two lock it up last month. These two have been kept away from each other effectively, and I expect this to be a surprisingly good match. Big men aren't known for stealing the show, but after the match Sheamus got out of Khali, and with what we have seen from Henry the past month, don't be surprised if it happens. I expect this feud to go on for some time, so I do not expect a winner at all here.

Prediction: This match ends in a non-finish, probably double count-out.

Wade Barrett vs. Daniel Bryan: This match was half-assed added to the card Friday, and as I type, it still hasn't been added to the SummerSlam micro site. This is a tough pick. You don't want to take heat off Daniel Bryan right now, but Wade Barrett needs a win something fierce. I think they can get three good matches out of this if they play their cards right, so I pick the babyface to go over with another post-match beat down.

Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins, but gets his ass kicked afterward.

There should be other matches added to the show. I wouldn't be surprised with an Intercontinental Title match or even a U.S. Title match. Be sure to check back at 7:00pm CT when Jason Powell and I serve up live coverage of SummerSlam.
