The following predictions are made with no prior knowledge of the planned finishes. In other words, I'm guessing based on current storylines and past booking history. Join Jason Powell for live coverage of the show as it airs on PPV starting at 7:00 p.m. CT.

Robbie E vs. Robbie T: Ironically, this is one of the few matches that got any real build from TNA leading into the PPV. I have no idea what they are going to do with Rob Terry when this is over. He's fair as a heel, but terrible as a babyface, and he'll get cheered coming out of this show. Where he ends up is anybody's guess. Robbie E needs to take a couple of months off and come back with a new gimmick. I understood the Jersey Shore gimmick when it began, but that concept has jumped the shark. Terry walks away in what might be a buffer match, but I certainly hope is quick and painless, and drops the "Robbie" gimmick.

Prediction: Rob Terry wins.

Joey Ryan vs. Joseph Park: Does anybody have any idea why this match is happening? Did I miss a setup for this somewhere or was it literally just added to the card at random? It's kind of hard to preview a match that is randomly happening. And here's the thing, even if this isn't a random match, if a reporter who covers the company doesn't know about it, how many fans do? I'm guessing Park goes over here because we've seen less of Ryan than him. It's not a great reason, but it's all I got.

Prediction: Joseph Park wins.

Zema Ion vs. Kenny King vs. Christian York for the X Division Championship: Speaking of random matches, why is it Kenny King cuts a promo about "whoever he faces at Lockdown" and nobody else does? Where's all that love for the X Division now? And why isn't Rob Van Dam getting a rematch? So many questions are unanswered going into this show. King retains because he just got the title.

Prediction: Kenny King retains the X Division Championship.

Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky for the Knockouts Championship: This match seems more about Kim and Taryn Terrell than it does Kim and Velvet. I'm not sure why you would make a title feud about a referee (I realize she's going to start wrestling, the question was rhetorical) but that's what they have done here. Velvet retains and Taryn dons the boots at the next PPV at the latest. Watch out for the swerve though. TNA loves the misdirection and Taryn could turn on Velvet and cause another title change. I don't expect it, but don't rule it out.

Prediction: Velvet Sky retains the Knockouts Championship.

Daniels & Kazarian vs. Bobby Roode & Austin Aries vs. Hernandez & Chavo Guerrero for the Tag Team Championships: Not for nothing, but typing this up has reminded me how poor the build for this show has been and frustrates me all over again. Moving on. Assuming Bobby Roode has his contract issues work out, I don't think there's any reason to move the title again. Get the two wacko bird teams to get their feud out of the way so they can all get back to doing what they do best: Daniels and Kazarian being Bad Intentions, Roode and Aries being singles wrestlers, and Chavo and Hernandez going away.

Prediction: Bobby Roode & Austin Aries retain the Tag Team Championships.

Wes Brisco vs. Kurt Angle in a steel cage match: This is a tough one to pick. I have the feeling Angle wants to put Brisco over (because he wants to show Brisco can wrestle and is going to bump around like mad for him), and I think Briscoe needs to go over, albeit with some help from Garett Bischoff. That said, I don't think TNA wants Angle doing the job here. It's an unfortunate setup if that is true, as Brisco doesn't need the loss here because of his status as an Aces and Eights member. That group needs to look strong all night to make the reveal at the end that much bigger. I'm going to go with Angle just because I think I know how this night plays out, which I will lay out below.

Prediction: Kurt Angle wins.

Aces & Eights (Devon, Mr. Anderson, D.O.C, Garett and Knox) vs. Team TNA (Sting, Magnus, Samoa Joe, James Storm and Eric Young) in Lethal Lockdown: My best guess is that Aces and Eights loses every match tonight, looking weak, only to have Bully Ray be the big reveal to kick start the group again. That's the way I would book it if I was running the show, but I would also have made Aces and Eights look strong for weeks, something TNA has failed to do time and again. Because of that failure, the reveal isn't going to have near the impact (pun intended) as they want. That might lead them to turning a guy here to join the gang, but I doubt it. If they do, EY is my pick. What better way to destroy the old comedy gimmick than to turn him heel?

Prediction: Team TNA wins.

Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy in a steel cage match for the World Heaveyweight Championship: Somebody is going to be revealed as the true leader of Aces and Eights tonight, and it better be Bully Ray. Because of history, a lot of people are speculating (read: fearing) either Hulk Hogan or Eric Bischoff will end up in charge. I know I certainly don't want to see that, and I think it would do major harm to the company as they start to embark on their new touring TV schedule. Hogan may still help draw, but you just need him to be there. He doesn't have to be the focus of the show.

There are problems with turning Bully. The beat down at the wedding was pretty brutal for him to be the "higher power," but I have faith in Bully Ray to come out and sell us on why it played out that way. The only question is Brooke. Do they turn her as well? She's probably going to get more boos than cheers on the road, and you might as well use that to your advantage. Plus her and Hulk being in control of the different parts of the company and not being aligned anymore could be fun storytelling. Ultimately I think they do turn her too, but they could save that for tomorrow's first live Impact on the road. Either way, this is the only championship to change tonight.

Prediction: Bully Ray wins the World Heavyweight Championship.
