Ryan Kester (Twitter - @TheRyanKester):

Show Grade: B-

  • Ziggler and Ryder had a great opening match that served to get the crowd hot. If Ryder keeps getting a reaction like he is, he will have a great career despite his quirky gimmick. There's something to be said for an underdog the fans rally behind until he gets to the top, only to have him be a heel once he gets there. If WWE takes that route, Ryder could have a great run even with his current gimmick.

  • So, my nephew just looked at me and asked why Santa can't be black. Thanks for that, WWE.

  • I went form seething about Henry's loss to being elated for Daniel Bryan. Great moment, but this would have been so much better had he managed to take the title off of Henry rather than his big buddy Show. I'm a fan of Bryan realizing his dream, but I disagree with the way WWE went about this.

  • Having Show beat Henry for the title was the worst possible thing WWE could have done. Henry made himself a monster with a ton of heat over the past few months and WWE wasted the dragon slaying payoff on a man who s in the twilight of his career. Henry had a chance to make a star with his title loss, and WWE wasted that.

  • CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio, and Miz put on a very entertaining main event with some great spots. Punk had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand as he struggled to free himself of the handcuffs on the turnbuckle.

Replay Verdict: There was a lot of fun matches on this show, and this is certainly a must-see for a Daniel Bryan fan. Otherwise, I would save my money for the Royal Rumble when WWE start caring about its booking again.

Will Pruett (Twitter - @itswilltime):

Editors Note: Congratulations to Will Pruett and his wife on their second Wedding Anniversary. He was off tonight but will be back with his thoughts on the show later on this week.

Jake Barnett (Twitter - @barnettjake):

Show Grade: B-

  • Ziggler and Ryder should be proud of that opening match. I enjoyed the action from bell to bell and I hope this marks a turning point for both men. Both are at very exciting stages of their careers.

  • I thought Kevin Nash and Triple H delivered a pretty admirable match considering the shape Kevin Nash's knees looked to be in. I was legitimately in fear he could get hurt in a dangerous ladder spot, but the only major risk they took with him went off perfectly. Kudos to both men for delivering a very brutal looking match without taking many of the extreme risks that others do.

  • I was very saddened to see Mark Henry hobbling as if he was injured during his match, and it turned out to be more real than I wanted it to be. If this is the end of his great run, I leave feeling unsatisfied. I hope when he gets healthy we can see the conclusion as it should have been.

  • Daniel Bryan is one of my favorite wrestlers. Seeing him and C.M. Punk simultaneously as the Major Champions in WWE is a reward that will stick with me. I hope they reward of all Bryan's hard work with an earnest push as the World Heavyweight Champion, but I will remain a skeptic hoping to be proved wrong.

  • Punk, The Miz, and ADR delivered a great TLC match to close the show. Everything looked brutal, there was significant amounts of heel chicanery, and Ricardo Rodriguez took the most sick looking bump of the night. Punk picks up momentum here, and I hope he can find a challenger next that can bring out the kind of intensity we saw this summer.

Replay Verdict: If you are a Daniel Bryan or Zack Ryder fan, this is a great show to watch. If you weren't impressed by the booking leading up to the show, then I don't think this show blew away expectations enough to warrant the price tag.
