WWE Raw Feedback: "Raw has officially become a lame ass variety show for five year olds"
Dec 22, 2009 - 01:36 PM

The following feedback was sent by Dot Net readers regarding Monday's WWE Raw show.

Wow! That show sucked. That might be both the stupidest and the least entertaining 2 hours of my life. I wish they would've just stopped after the John Cena vs. Jack Swagger match, because it was unwatchable from there on. The Jericlaus thing was cute, but the mini-DX Army? Ridiculous. I hope it's just them being lazy around the holidays. Raw is swinging through my part of the country soon and if this is the quality of the shows I'm going to, I'll consider it a bad investment.

Raw has officially become a lame ass variety show for five year olds, but even a five year old would not think this crap is funny. This will be the last Raw show I will suffer through, next week I do not work, so I will be at the corner bar drinking $1 beers, the week after I will watch TNA, and then within another week or two, 24 starts the new season so will be watching that. No more suffering watching this crap.

The Good: The matches this week were far better than last week, more specifically the six man tag and the John Cena vs. Jack Swagger match. Johnny Damon did an okay job (he was far better backstage than in front of the crowd). And it looks like the Bret Hart rumors are coming true and not just a passing fad.

The Bad: MVP pretty much gets squashed by Sheamus. This was a chance for MVP to be built into a legitimate contender. He didn't have to win, and he shouldn't have won because Sheamus needs the win more, but he should have hung with Sheamus and given him a run for his money. It might be time to put MVP in my "Future World Champ" storage shed along with Test, Carlito, and Mr. Kennedy. Also, who is left to challenge The Miz? He's beat MVP, Mark Henry, Swagger, Kofi, and Evan Bourne. Legacy maybe? And if Bret Hart does come back, January 4 is too soon. They need at least a month to build this up and get the buzz going because I guarantee that 75 percent of the people who watched Bret Hart stopped watching WWE a long time ago and will miss the 1/4 show.

The Ugly: Little People Court, duh. Remember when Triple H cared so much about being champion that he tried to kill Stone Cold and retired Mick Foley? Remember when it was HBK's life long dream to be WWE Champion? Remember when DX was the most cutting edge thing, not only in WWE but pro wrestling and maybe even all of television? I want to fast forward WWE 6-7 years when all the kiddie fans they have now are old enough to hear the word 'ass' and see some blood. Oy. The end skit was alright (was it just me, or did Chris Jericho sound like Stewie from Family Guy), but they should have put Sheamus vs. MVP on last, and then have Cena and Damon come out and announce the title match.

Overall: I wondered what WWE was going to do with the six weeks between TLC and the Rumble. I'm glad to see they filled the holiday week with some big matches instead of the 'BestOf' shows the used to. Next week's Raw should be better, but probably not by a lot.
