WWE Bragging Rights Mailbag: Mixed reaction to Sunday's Raw vs. Smackdown themed show
Oct 26, 2009 - 11:20 AM

You are encouraged to send all feedback to dotnetjason@gmail.com for possible inclusion in future Dot Net Mailbag articles.

The pay per view was great! I saw the one viewer didn't like it at all, but it really kept you on your seat with the Smackdown or Raw rivalry. Especially with Big Show turning on Raw in the big match. You didn't see it coming and I had a couple of friends here and we were all at saying what just happened? The John Cena and Randy Orton match stole the show. They really kept you guessing on who would win and Cena won with the STF. I watch all the pay per views and we get into all of them. I just wanted to drop you my 2 cents on what I thought of it all.

Seriously I'm a WWE fan 100 percent, but tonight's show was more predictable than anything I've seen in my life. It was sad I thank God I didn't pay for it. I got to see it for free ( thank the lord for that) but I hope this was just a speed bump and things get better, I really do. On a different subject, WWE was a trend topic on Twitter because everyone kept commenting that the UFC 104 copied the WWE in the screwjob theme.. LOL. They were telling Dana White to stop watching WWE.

San Antonio, Tex.

Thumbs Up! Best match: John Cena vs. Randy Orton. Worst: Divas tag, just by default. This was a show of good matches with one great match. A really easy show to watch. The only problem being that no one was really elevated.

I have to vent about this utter crap I just wasted my money on. I liked nothing on the PPV, nothing. The Miz vs. John Morrison match was fine, but I hate the booking. They should have went out there and had a 20 minute barn burner, then keep them separate until WrestleMania, making people want to pay for a long awaited rematch.

The women's match....what a joke. Smart, Sexy and Powerful? More like Dumb, Lazy, and Weak.

The four-way match was decent enough, but the Batista heel turn was a joke. "You were supposed to be my friend"? Why not just have Batista start coming out with a diaper and bottle and call him Batista the Bulked Up Baby?

The 14-man tag match was an unmitigated disaster IMO. The build was weak, the shirts they wore in the match was laughable (except for Shawn and Hunter, you know they always have to be positioned as cooler then everybody else), and the action was boring. The Big Show swerve made absolutely no sense unless Vince Russo is now hosing Stephanie McMahon.

The Iron Man match was okay but not special. Of course as many times as I've seen these two fight nothing would have felt special unless Randy Orton pulled out a gun and shot John Cena in the face. I won't be buying another WWE PPV for a long time. In fact they would have to pay me just to watch another one and I might even turn that offer down.
