WWE SummerSlam feedback: Additional feedback regarding WWE's biggest show of the summer featuring Jeff Hardy vs. C.M. Punk, DX reunited, and the return of The Undertaker

It was a decent show. Dolph Zigger and Rey Mysterio kicked off the show in style. I hope Rey going over doesn’t mean that Dolph’s push is going to be scaled back. I was hoping that MVP and Jack Swagger were going to be given at least 10 minutes, but oh well. A forgettable outing. The JeriShow vs. Cryme Tyme match was solid. The new JeriShow music tells me that they won’t be splitting up anytime soon. Kane and Great Khali was horrible. End the feud, and move on please.
The DX vs. Legacy match was just boring. Legacy came out of it looking okay. Did the match really need 20 minutes, though? Really? The William Regal vs. Christian ‘match’ was a disgrace. I was looking forward to them having a really good 8-10 minute match. It felt like I’d seen the Randy Orton vs. John Cena match 10,000 times before. They did nothing new in the match, and the clusterf--- ending was awful.
The TLC match with Jeff Hardy and CM Punk was excellent. This really saved the show for me. Both guys worked their ass off, and if this is Jeff’s last match for a while, then he should be really proud. Taker’s return was also a nice little surprise. Overall, a decent show, but I was expecting more. The opening and closing matches saved this show from being horrible.

I debated what to rate this PPV, and I would say overall, it was good and I enjoyed it. The TLC was wonderful. Both guys did INSANE stuff. Loved the Jeff Hardy off the ladder onto a prone C.M. Punk on the announcers' table. That was sick. Loved seeing the Undertaker come back, as well.
The rest: Good opener with Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler. I liked the match quite a bit. Interesting to have seen the audience get behind Dolph a little bit. MVP's promo was very well done. The match between him and Jack Swagger was so so. The Unified Tag Title match was pretty good.
The tag match between DX vs. Legacy, however, was awesome. Very well worked match and Legacy did great jobs sticking it to DX, until DX finally won. I loved the DX entrance. It was long, but awesome. The ECW match.....well, I guess it appears they don't care much about the ECW Title. I was a bit annoyed with the start/restart nature of the Randy Orton vs. John Cena match. It seems they are running out of idea. The match was pretty decent.

I thought it was great. The opener was really good with Dolph Ziggler looking real good again. The middle was just kind of there until DX vs. Legacy. DX put over Legacy BIG! They looked the best they've ever looked. Even though I knew DX was going to win, I still got in to the match.
Also, I like the WWE Championship match as I thought the restarts were fun and you have to say the swerved us because you really had to think after the restarts John Cena was going to win. The fan part added to match as well in my opinion.
The TLC wasn't the greatest but, it was still good with nice spots like C.M. Punk dropping Jeff Hardy on the open chair, the superplex on the ladder, both Punk and Hardy going through a ladder in the match, and finally Jeff's crazy holy s*** Swanton off the 25/30 ft? ladder though the ECW table, just awesome.
Of course Undertaker's return and they way they did was great.
