What is up with the hate of Randy Orton's theme song? I have always thought
his song and Edge's were the best of the current roster. Poppy? I never thought it was poppy. Please, that song kicked ass over Cena's craptacular theme, or the so-old song of Triple H. Oh well, to each their own I guess.

Powell's POV: I would argue with you and tell you that the song is geared toward teenage girls who watch TRL after school every day, but you're a military man who could snap my neck like a twig. I was told a while back that Orton hated the song and tried to get it changed once before. There was another song tested, but Vince McMahon didn't like it so they went back to the song they were using until last night. Be safe, Nick.

I really enjoyed the show and the one thought that was left in my head was that I want to see a Beth Phoenix vs. Awesome Kong interpromotional match. Someone needs to make that happen.

Powell's POV: I'd pay to see that one. Maybe someday they'll end up working for the same company.

For the first time in a long time, I watched Raw all the way through without changing the channel. Solid promos a long with decent matches was enough to keep me tuned in. William Regal is scoring some major heat right now. I wasn't a fan of his "blackouts" at first, but now it's hard to argue with the results as far as his character is concerned. I was surprised to hear so many cheers for John Cena, but it was clear that the crowd missed his presence and WWE is much better off with him on the show.
It is nice to see the women's division getting more attention, and it's great divas like Melina allotted more screen-time. She is just way to hot to be kept off camera (not to mention the fact that she is slowly but surely learning how to wrestle). It was nice to see Jeff Hardy back, but WWE should have given him more time on the mic to explain himself. Besides, isn't Umaga supposed to be going to Smackdown? Some may disagree, but I did not find the main event predictable and was surprised to see JBL emerge as a special guest referee.
Nice win for Randy Orton, but Jason is right on when he says that Orton needs a manager. He is a great wrestler, but other heels (see: Edge) really know how to "push the crowd's buttons" on a more personal level with their promos and draw more heat. This has been clear at two live events I attended recently. I wasn't going to fork over another $40 for Judgment Day, but this evolving Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho feud and Edge's third shot at Undertaker has me intrigued enough to invest in the show.
