WWE Raw Feedback: A Dot Net reader sounds off on the Shawn Michaels and Triple H vs. The Hart Dynasty match

This easily has to be such a throwaway of a potential money angle. No question that a portion of the audience isn’t aware of the DX vs. Hart Foundation feud from 96-97, or the Davey Boy Smith vs. HBK matches of the mid-90s, but how hard would it had been to have the Dynasty give a two-minute promo before their match talking about how this match meant a lot to them.

HBK is in the ring with D.H. Smith and yet no mention about how HBK beat Davey Boy Smith for the European Title, or any of their longstanding history? Listen to how dead the crowd was for the match. Now think of the reaction for this match anywhere north of the 49. The lackluster announcing of this match just added to it.

Aside from The King making fun of The Anvil, nothing was brought full circle and it just made the Dynasty look weak. If Jim Ross or Matt Striker had been on the mic for this match, at least the history could had been given and this could had been built up a bit. It just seemed like such a wasted opportunity and I would have been happier seeing any joe-blow team fed to DX for the purpose of the match instead of wasting the Dynasty.

There were so many wrong things with that match. It could had been built and sold a house in Canada, or an actual feud to put over some up and comers. Instead, its just another way of holding talent down.
