-Did you think even for a second that the Big Show and Floyd Mayweather was a shoot? Either way, when is the last time you thought a worked angle was actually a shoot? Send a paragraph or two to dotnetjason@gmail.com and I’ll publish some of your answers.

I just got home like 10 minutes ago, but had ordered the PPV earlier and forgot. I really only wanted to see the Raw elimination chamber match anyway. Anyway, when I turned it on, Big Show was in the ring and Rey was on the outside, and figured I saw where this was going. Boy was I wrong.

What followed was the single best angle I've seen in probably a decade. Nothing realistically even comes to mind that was as big a deal or done so perfectly.  The best part about it, as a wrestling fan for 20 years, I was standing while the whole thing was going on with my mouth wide open, and walked away wondering how much of that was real and how much of it was fake. Obviously after a few minutes I've realized that it was 100 percent worked, but Mayweather really drilled him there, and Big Show looked legit pissed. Tremendous angle made even more real by Mayweather's entourage being so into it. That's how you pull off an angle and make it seem like a big deal.

Now the downfall to this angle is I can't imagine Mayweather is going to do a match at Wrestlemania or even do any follow up with it, but with Floyd being so big right now that is really going to bring some attention back into the WWE.  If they can follow up on it...who knows what difference this can make to their ratings?
