-I'd be so much more intrigued by Judgment Day's Triple H vs. Randy Orton cage match if Hunter were still chasing Orton for the WWE Title. It all seems rather anticlimactic now that Triple H has already regained the strap.

I would have had Orton retain the title in the four-way by some fluke and then built up the Judgment Day match as Hunter finally getting a singles shot at Orton. Of course, I also would have stressed the fact that Orton would have no place to run because of the cage match stipulation. As it stands, most fans will head in expecting Triple H to retain since this will be his first major title defense.

I'm sure they'll deliver a great match, but I don't think fans who were bothered by last night's finish will be as quick to forgive the company and order the pay-per-view as they would if they thought they were going to see a title change take place.

-Please tell me that William Regal referring to himself as the most powerful entity in WWE is not setting up the return of Vince McMahon. I know USA Network officials love the character and feel it's good for ratings, but I need a longer break from Mr. McMahon. It would be one thing if they shook up the character and put him in a meaningful storyline, but I've had enough of the creepy Mr. McMahon we've been getting.

-I continue to wonder how many website visitors TNA loses on by continuing to blast audio at their viewers the moment they arrive at TNAwrestling.com. I enjoy some of their video features, but I just don't need to be greeted with Jeremy Borash or the James Earl Jones narrator guy yelling at me the moment I log onto their website. I'm sure that goes over really well with office workers who forget to turn the volume down.

-If you think Mike Adamle was awful the first week, check back tonight for Rich Twilling's first crack at "Live Coverage" of the ECW on Sci-Fi show. Rich has been doing a kick ass job covering Raw and Smackdown each week, but this will be his first time going live on the site. I'm thinking about giving him the Vince McMahon treatment by calling him and screaming in his ear throughout the broadcast. Honestly, I'm sure Rich will do a great job. If not, we can all laugh at him and make mean jokes at his expense. No pressure, Rich.

-I'm playing hooky and postponing my ECW viewing until later tonight so that I can attend the White Sox vs. Twins game at the Metrodump. My buddy Dave Kinney hooked me up with a ticket and I'm looking forward to seeing the new-look Twins for the first time this season.

-Within minutes of posting a recap of the Baltimore Sun interview in which Randy Orton discussed how much his wife's pregnancy had matured him, I received an email from a friend who questioned how much progress Orton has actually made. I haven't heard any negative stories about Randy lately, but I'm told that Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. has. Apparently, Orton tossed a tray of food in the hallway of a hotel room during the recent European tour because the hotel staff woke him up too early. I guess one can only hope that Orton's daughter sleeps through the night when she arrives this summer.

-I know I can't be the only person who is bothered by Triple H, Undertaker, and Kane holding the major singles titles in WWE. If a person awoke from a 10-year coma today, he/she would probably be freaked out by MP3 players, TIVO, and Guitar Hero. However, the person could ease his/her way into the modern era by watching WWE since three guys from the Attitude Era are the top singles champions in WWE. It's like nothing has changed. I'm guessing that whole WWF/WWE thing might throw the person for a loop, though.

-I'm still waiting for my weekly "Heyman Hustle" fix. The UK Sun posted the latest video last Tuesday and it's cut out 36 seconds in ever since. Meanwhile, I haven't noticed any problem with the Sun airing other videos on their main page. I enjoy the Hustle, but I don't like feeling like I'm being hustled. You'd think they'd at least pull the Hustle until it's working properly. At the very least, they could replace the Hustle with the Page 3 girls until it's working properly. I think the Page 3 girls are the answer to most of the world's problems, but that's just me.

-Here's what I know about tonight's Raw. Hunter will make his first appearance as the 12-time WWE Champ. Mr. Kennedy is returning. And William Regal's coronation will take place. Oh, and I guess we won't be seeing Dave Taylor make any surprise appearances at his old pal's coronation.

-I'm still searching for a contributor to write the weekly WWE Smackdown TV report. If you are interested and able to watch the feed that airs at 7 p.m. (CT), drop me a line at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-For those who have asked, the couple's wedding shower went well. Good food, cold beer, and more than one guy told me, "Don't tell me anything about the NFL draft because I'm taping it at home." I was even lucky enough to have the Vikings trade up and make their second-round pick just as I was arriving at the party on Saturday night. I like to think that head coach Brad Childress was thinking of me when they made that trade. I owe you one, Chilly.
