WWE Raw Hitlist: John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels announced for Survivor Series, Kofi Kingston shines, John Cena makes Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes look like losers, Hornswoggle can't read

WWE Raw Hits

Kofi Kingston: It was great to see one of the mid-card wrestlers get a true shining moment. The win over Chris Jericho was nice, but that wasn't showcased as a true star making moment. Rather, the backstage skit where he trashed Randy Orton's car put him in a segment with one of the top stars and made him look like a star as he went on the offensive in his feud with Randy. My only complaints are that Legacy just stood there and watched it happen, and we didn't need to see Kofi as one of the lumberjacks. It's a small thing, but our last look at Kofi should have come when he was standing on top of the paint-covered car.

Chris Jericho: I cracked up watching him celebrate with the Bragging Rights trophy. He also had the line of the night when he said, "There's nothing wrong with that," in response to the line about the Buffalo Bills moving to Canada. Throw in the bickering with Big Show and the quality match with Kofi Kingston and it was another great night for Jericho.

Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena: I was concerned they were going with another Hunter vs. Cena match at Survivor Series. I'm tired of watching the same old guys in the title picture, but at least this is a fresh matchup in the sense that HBK is back in the hunt for the first time in many months.

Triple H vs. Big Show: There were some logic holes in the match. First, why would the lumberjacks just stand there and watch Big Show stand on Hunter and taunt them when they could have just hit the ring at any point given the no DQ stipulation? That said, Show looked strong by fighting off several wrestlers, yet still got his in the end for turning on Team Raw the night before.

WWE Raw Misses

Hornswoggle: He can't speak and now we learn he can't read. I'm beginning to think that Joe Jackson is a better father than Finlay.

Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes: They had DX put these two over on pay-per-view and then spent the last two weeks of Raw shows building up DiBiase only to have Cena erase it all with one promo. He talked down to them like they were jobbers. Worse yet, they just stood there and took it like a couple of punks rather than take advantage of the two-on-one situation. I was excited by the angle they did last week with DiBiase and Randy Orton last week, but the followup was atrocious. Sure, I enjoy the slow build to the eventual split, but this segment made Rhodes and DiBiase look as bad as they did when Cena was beating them in handicap matches and they were hanging out with Manu.

MVP and Mark Henry vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase: This win would have meant something for MVP and Henry a week ago, but why would anyone care if they beat a tag team that had just been emasculated.

The Miz and Jack Swagger: I don't mind the storyline of two men feuding over a woman. However, the woman in this case has shown she wants nothing to do with the two men. WWE creative has to know that the reason people hate guys like Miz is because they are obnoxious, arrogant, and still get women. It's easy to hate someone when you can't understand why any woman would want to be with them, let alone the super hot girl. WWE creative should know this better than anyone because they've seen it with their own eyes. After all, The Miz earned his Chick Magnet nickname. People within the company were stunned at how many women flocked to him at the hotel bars.

Sheamus vs. Jamie Noble: A horribly flat debut. The live crowd didn't give a damn about Sheamus. The only noises I heard during the match were random people yelling "Boring." WWE should watch the tape of Desmond Wolfe's debut on TNA Impact. I'm not saying they should push Sheamus that aggressively, but Wolfe's debut was hotter than any character introduction WWE has made in years.

Kyle Busch and Joey Logano: These two were terrible talkers. Busch tried to heel it up, but it was hard to take him seriously when he had a smile on his face the entire time. The Kofi Johnston line was embarrassing, but at least he caught himself quickly and said the right name.
