Powell's WWE Raw Hitlist: John Cena proves he could beat Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase by himself twice in the same night, Legacy infighting, Big Show and Chris Jericho bickering, departing Divas look bad on their way out the door

Dot Net Members are reading an exclusive story regarding a top TNA wrestler who is staying with the company despite plenty of talk that he was on his way out the door. WWE Raw Hits

Big Show and Chris Jericho: I enjoyed the fun dynamic between these two bickering partners. Jericho is hamming it up in his little man heel role. Show is effective in small doses as the bumbling big man comedy figure. The finish of their match was fine in that it showed Jericho trying to outsmart the big man, only to have it backfire on him. I didn't expect a clean finish here, so the countout was a logical move. That said, did anyone else find it odd that the two man heel acts were all fighting amongst themselves last night?

Legacy infighting: I didn't care for the way they got there (more on that below), but the infighting amongst the Legacy members was well done. Cody Rhodes pinning Ted DiBiase was a surprise, and then Ted returning the favor by pinning Randy Orton in the main event was a cool moment. My guess is that it leads to Ted turning babyface in time for WWE to promote "The Marine 2" release.

Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne: A fun match while it lasted. Did you hear the live crowd pop when Bourne teased going to the top rope? The people like him and love his finisher, so why is he positioned as a bottom feeder by WWE creative?

Hype for next week's show: The thing that bothered me most about having the women from Access Hollywood host the show is that WWE didn't even bother to hype anything else. It was as if they were saying that Maria Menounos and Nancy O'Dell would bring in so many viewers that they didn't have to promote anything else. Fortunately, they kicked it up a notch for next week with the great Snoop Dogg as the guest host and the big John Cena vs. Triple H main event.

The build for Cena's potential final Raw show: Only time will tell whether he's going to Smackdown (my guess is he remains on Raw), but I give WWE credit for making the most of that stipulation by teasing the possibility throughout the show and by booking the big main event for next week. I'm anxious to see if Cena and Hunter can step up and deliver a great match before the inevitable cheap finish. It's been a long time since either one of them has delivered a truly memorable in-ring performance.

WWE Raw Misses

John Cena can beat Cody and Ted by himself: Yes, it was a Triple Threat match, but it felt like a glorified handicap match since Cody and Ted worked together throughout the match. I despise the way WWE had to show that Cena would have beaten Cody and Ted had Randy not made a quick slide through the ring. The finish didn't even call for Cena to lose the match, yet WWE had to show us that he could have overcome the odds once again. Cody and Ted gained something in their feud with DX, but WWE creative seemed hellbent on bringing them back down to earth by showing that Cena could beat the two of them. Worse yet, they did something similar in the main event. That said, I suppose all could be forgotten if Ted is breaking away from Legacy soon.

Nancy O'Dell and Maria Menounos: WWE didn't ask them to do much and they were okay in their roles as guest hosts, but I still think WWE would have been better off going with one of their legends instead of the two "Access Hollywood" women. Granted, they're getting exposure on "Access Hollywood," but WWE officials seem to get way too excited about being featured on shows that do a fraction of the rating that Raw does. I suppose any publicity is good publicity, though.

Jillian Hall vs. Mickie James: What the hell was that? Mickie loses in 1:15? Sure, Jillian used the ropes, but this was way too rushed. It was another example of the Raw creative team making a wrestler look bad on their way out the door. I suppose the same could be said for Maria Menounos getting the better of Beth Phoenix, and roughing up Rosa Mendes to set up the finish of the six-Diva tag match that was clearly designed to be an "Access Hollywood" moment.

Jack Swagger vs. MVP: The crowd seemed to care about these two about as much as they cared about the guest hosts. I'm sure WWE officials blame the wrestlers, but the truth is that they and Evan Bourne have been wasted since they were moved to Raw earlier this year.

Hornswoggle with DX: As if the DX act hasn't been watered down enough, now they're adding more comedy relief that appeals only to small children.
