WWE's "ECW on Sci-Fi" Hitlist: Jack Swagger scores a clean pin over Finlay, Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry, ECW broadcast team, Hardy vs. Swagger announced for next week

ECW Hits
Jack Swagger vs. Finlay: It's so refreshing to see heels win cleanly in WWE. I expected Swagger to go over, but I had no idea he'd score the clean pin over Finlay. This pin legitimized Swagger in the sense that viewers who were skeptical should now take him seriously as the No. 1 contender to Matt Hardy's title.
Teddy Long announces Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy for next week: I'm concerned that they're going to deliver a cheap finish by having Mark Henry interfere as a payback for Swagger interfering in Henry's match with Hardy last week. If nothing else, at least there's a storyline explanation if it plays out that way, and I'm sure we'll eventually get a decisive winner to the Hardy vs. Swagger feud. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing Hardy and Swagger locking up for the first time on television.
Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry: Some of the big match feel that existed when these two fought last week was missing, but they came through with another solid in-ring performance. If someone had told me six months ago that a Hardy vs. Henry feud would be this entertaining I would have called them a liar. Kudos to both wrestlers for continuing to tell the story of Henry's bad left knee in their matches. So many guys would make that a big story in one match and then completely ignore it in future matches. They tell a nice story and it's a nice little treat for regular viewers who have followed their entire feud.
Todd Grisham and Matt Striker: These guys have reportedly spent a lot of time listening to advice from WWE's veteran announcers. I applaud that, but I think the vets would also benefit from talking with the young guys when it comes to pop culture. Part of Jim Ross's charm is that he's old school, but guys like Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Tazz don't come across as hip as Grisham and especially Striker do when it comes to pop culture.
ECW Misses
None: No complaints about this show. I'm not a Boogeyman fan, but they keep his matches short and painless. Even the women's match was solid for the two throwaway minutes they gave them. Overall, another enjoyable, limited nonsense show with clean finishes in every match.
