WWE Raw Hitlist: Randy Orton returns to bicker with C.M. Punk, Rey Mysterio and Candice Michelle back in action, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Honk-A-Meter

WWE Raw Hits
Randy Orton: The opening promo with Orton mocking the brand and its champions was great. There was a lot of truth in what he said and he added an edge to the show that's been lacking outside of the Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels feud. His exchange with C.M. Punk was well done and I'm looking forward to seeing the two of them face off in a pay-per-view main event later this year. This was one of the better promos Orton has delivered.
C.M. Punk: It was nice to see the World Hvt. Champion stand up for himself and get more aggressive by standing face-to-face with Orton. The water dousing spot was a nice touch.
Rey Mysterio returns: This was a good, high energy segment. The live crowd was as into Mysterio as anyone else on the show, and he gave them plenty to cheer about via his intense attack on Kane. Of course, it would be nice to know what the hell Kane was talking about since Mysterio looked like the same old Rey despite Kane's previous claims to the contrary.
Honk-A-Meter: Santino Marella is back on his game after going too far over the top with his comedy. He's been tremendous the last two weeks and I really hope we get to see the battered boyfriend storyline.
Candice Michelle: I was down on Candice's role at the convention, but she was smoking hot in the new outfit to the point that one of my friends in the industry even pointed it out this morning.
Mark Henry: Another round of overpowering dominance. Who knew Henry could be so entertaining?
Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels: Another week, another great verbal exchange. Michaels glaring at Jericho, who refused to look at him during the contract signing was tremendous. These two are on fire and nothing can stop them. Oh, wait...
John Morrison: I popped huge for his impersonation of JTG's dance. Laugh out loud funny. I still can't believe this guy didn't get a spot in the ECW Championship Scramble.
Jamie Noble: I always get a kick out of his romantic life storylines. Sure, he's been doing the same storyline on and off for years, but it's a fun sideshow act.
WWE Raw Misses
Shawn Michaels injury: This injury could have been much worse. Had this segment aired live, I would have been more concerned about his head and neck than his triceps. There's never a good time to suffer an injury (well, unless you're Randy Orton and your wife is about to give birth), but HBK was involved in the hottest program in the company. What a shame.
JBL: I groaned when he walked out and interrupted the promo the C.M. Punk was cutting on Randy Orton. I enjoy JBL's character, but it's hard to take him seriously when he keeps cutting the same promos on Punk every week. His character has lost all credibility when it comes to his claims about Punk because he's the only guy that Punk beats.
Charlie Haas: He has a legitimate wrestling background. Can't they come up with a shooter gimmick for him so they can spare us his new impersonation gimmick?
Kofi Kingston: We've learned nothing about Kofi since he showed up on Raw. The Intercontinental Title run was nice, but his character is one dimensional.
