The following predictions are made with no inside knowledge of the finishes.

Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode for the TNA World Championship: All of the hype leading into the show has been on Roode's dream of capturing the World Title. He's been portrayed as the ultimate homegrown babyface, so you just know he's going to win the strap and turn heel. Wait, Vince Russo no longer has final say? Oh, then I'll go with Roode to win without the heel turn, though I do think Roode should eventually turn heel and have his more charismatic tag partner chase him for the title.

Prediction: Bobby Roode defeats Kurt Angle to win the TNA Title.

Hulk Hogan fights Sting for the control of the company: Are there any TNA fans longing for Dixie Carter's character to regain control of the company? I mean, it's not like we can point to this great time when Dixie's character had the power. There's no reason to root against her regaining power, but they have failed in all of this time to establish why I should care about Dixie being back in control aside from the Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff characters are unlikable. No one has bothered to explain how Hogan or Sting are supposed to win this fight. I assume we'll get a bunch of run-ins that will serve as distractions for how limited Hogan is due to his back problems. After all, it's a spectacle, not a match. Kudos to TNA for not misleading viewers into expecting a full fledged match.

Prediction: Sting defeats Hulk Hogan, putting Dixie Carter back in control of the company.

A.J. Styles vs. Christopher Daniels in an I Quit match: Much like Will Pruett, I'm actually hoping for some shenanigans that leads to Daniels going over. I love the current version of his character and I think there's plenty of milage left in this feud. Unfortunately, I have a bad feeling that Styles wins and they move on to something else. I hope I'm wrong about that one, because I don't see any obvious programs for these two that would be better than continuing this one.

Prediction: A.J. Styles wins.

Mr. Anderson vs. Bully Ray in a Falls Count Anywhere Match: Will the Philly fans cheer Bully Ray in his homecoming match? If so, will Ray play into it or see it as a challenge to turn the fans against him? I'd love to see him try the latter if he gets a lot of fan support, as it would be quite the accomplishment given his ties to the area. I'd like to see Ray go over to continue the program. Ray is great at delivering the big crowd pleasing brawl and this should not be an exception. I just hope they keep the match away from RVD vs. Lynn due to all the weapons that are teased for that match.

Prediction: Bully Ray wins.

Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn in a Full Metal Mayhem match: TNA never even tried to make Jerry Lynn seem relevant heading into this match. He needed a win more than anyone in the tag match on the go-home show, and TNA had him do the job. This should mean so much more than it does. Instead, it's just an attempt to lure in some of the old ECW faithful. Lynn deserves better, and what could be the final match between these longtime opponents also deserved a better buildup. If Lynn loses here, it's probably the last we'll see of him in TNA, which is a shame because he could still be a strong contributor in the X Division.

Prediction: Rob Van Dam wins.

Austin Aries vs. Brian Kendrick for the X Division Championship: I could dedicate paragraph after paragraph about how bad the Kendrick character is and how it doesn't connect with the average fan, but I think I do that at least once a week. I just hope TNA creative doesn't think it would be a big happy ending to give Kendrick the win in this match. Keep the belt on Aries and build him up as a long running champion. He's the right guy for the role, and the X Division Title belt will mean more in the process. By the way, I don't care for the Kendrick character, but he is more than capable of holding up his end of what should be a good match.

Prediction: Austin Aries retains the X Division Title.

Samoa Joe vs. Crimson vs. Matt Morgan: The buildup was a mess in that Joe has issues with both men, but I thought Joe tied it together nicely by teasing that Crimson and Morgan really don't want to face one another. It was about the best story they could have told at the last minute. It's too bad this didn't get more storyline support. Hell, it's too bad they are having a three-way match rather than finding singles matches for all three of these guys. I'm going with the undefeated streak to continue even though I'm not really sure where it's going. If creative doesn't know, they could surprise us by ending it without having Crimson actually do the job. More than anything, I hope they find a way not to do too much damage to whoever loses, presumably Samoa Joe.

Prediction: Crimson wins.

Winter vs. Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne for the Knockouts Championship: Here's hoping Mickie can find the motivation to have more than just a passable performance. Madison is my favorite of the bunch and I'd like to see her get the belt back, but it looks like they are building up to a Velvet Sky win. I don't think they have fans wanting that moment yet, so hopefully Karen Jarrett's interference leads to Madison going over. My guess is that Velvet beats Winter with help from former partner Angelina Love, who is completely lost in the Winter sidekick spot.

Prediction: Velvet Sky wins the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Mexican America vs. Ink Inc. for the TNA Tag Titles: They made the right call in putting this match on the pre-show. This match does nothing for me on paper. I'm not sold on Ink Inc., but Mexican America needs to go away.

Prediction: Ink Inc. wins the TNA Tag Titles.
