TNA Impact Hitlist: Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, World X Cup, Karen Angle, Daivari, Awesome Kong, Motor City Machine Guns

TNA Impact Hits
Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash exchange: Another good verbal exchange. I really like they way they're setting up Joe as the blue collar guy by having him give up the nice dressing room for the gritty locker room.
Awesome Kong vs. Taylor: The live crowd really bought in when Taylor hit a missile dropkick for a nearfall. If they continue to push this correctly and pick the right person, it could be big (by TNA standards) when someone finally defeats Kong.
Motor City Machine Guns: They had another crowd pleasing match with Daivari and Tyson Dux. It's surprising and refreshing to see the Guns get two wins in a row. Are they finally out of the doghouse or will they go back to losing matches once they're finished representing TNA in the X Cup?
Kaz vs. Alex Kozlov: A good back and forth match. I'm still not sold on Kozlov's gimmick, but he's a good worker.
Sonjay Dutt: He was really over the top last week, but he bounced back nicely this week with a good promo and a solid verbal exchange with Jay Lethal.
TNA Impact Misses
Karen Angle interview: Horrible! Karen's acting is solid, which is more than I can say for the announcers. Don West enthusiastically stated that Karen must be scarred for life after being attacked by Awesome Kong last week. Scarred for life? Ugh. Out of nowhere, Mike Tenay played the tough guy interviewer by asking what was up with Karen and A.J. "frolicking around." When is the creative staff going to learn that Tenay can't act?
Daivari: I can't get over the lackluster job that TNA did of introducing him. They just kind of threw him out there last week as if he'd been there for a while and then his first in-ring appearance received no hype. I think he'd be a hell of an addition to the X Division and I'm surprised that TNA hasn't tried to make a bigger fuss over his debut. Heck, he even did the job in his debut match.
X Cup: What the hell are the rules for this thing again? They're having good matches, but they haven't even tried to establish the personalities of anyone involved. One strong promo can mean more than 20 flashy moves. Again, I'm enjoying the matches, but TNA should do a better job of introducing the personalities of the wrestlers.
Team 3D impersonates Jim Ross: Just another example of TNA making themselves seem like second rate WWE wannabes. When is the last time you heard anyone impersonate Mike Tenay or Don West?
Salinas vs. Jacqueline: I enjoy Jackie's work, but she just doesn't have much of a character in TNA. If she does, I don't really understand it. Meanwhile, Salinas is a glorified cheerleader and appears to be one of the least skilled wrestlers on the TNA roster. Try running a brush through that hair, girl!
