C.M. Punk vs. John Cena vs. Ryback for the WWE Championship: WWE made the right call in abandoning plans to have Punk and Ryback in the Survivor Series elimination match. The show looks much stronger with this main event. There's no reason for a title change here. If they were going to put it on Ryback, one has to think they would have done so at Hell in a Cell. Cena doesn't need the title belt. Most importantly, it appears as though all roads lead to Punk vs. Rock at the Royal Rumble. Get ready for the Day 365 celebration at Raw, which would be a great place to introduce the new title belt. The real question is how they get to Punk going over. I don't see Ryback losing again, so look for Ryback to hit Cena with his finisher only to have Punk somehow steal the pin.

Prediction: C.M. Punk retains the WWE Championship.

Big Show vs. Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship: These two stole the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view with a WrestleMania worthy performance. I'm not getting my hopes up too high this time around because I expect a cheap finish. Perhaps an overzealous William Regal gets Sheamus disqualified by going after Show at some point. Ideally, we'll look back on this at some point as a case of Regal intentionally sabotaging Sheamus because he was in cahoots with Wade Barrett. My latest guess is that Ryback wins the Royal Rumble and challenges Big Show for the World Hvt. Championship at WreslteMania 29, so no title change here.

Prediction: Big Show retains the World Hvt. Championship.

Team Foley (Randy Orton, Kane, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, and Kofi Kingston) vs. Team Ziggler (Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, Damien Sandow, and Cody Rhodes) in a Survivor Series elimination match: The heel team has plenty of reasons to go over. The babyface team has dissension with the Kane, Bryan, and Miz love triangle (or whatever you want to call it), Miz and Kofi not getting along, and Orton not liking anyone. However, I have the heels going over in the big two matches, so this could be the crowd pleasing match. If WWE does anything surprising in the two World Title matches, then I like the heels to go over here. Yet because of how I see the rest of the show going, I have to go with the babyface team.

Prediction: Team Foley wins with Orton and Miz as the survivors.

Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth for the U.S. Title: The match doesn't do much for me on paper, yet it's fine if the idea is to give Cesaro a minor credibility boost by having him go over. The less Little Jimmy crap the better. Here's hoping they don't with a surprise Truth win to give the fans a feel good moment with the heels looking strong in the World Title matches.

Prediction: Cesaro retains the U.S. Title.

Eve vs. Kaitlyn for the WWE Divas Championship: If they are going with a feel good moment, let it be here. Granted, Eve is the only interesting character in the Divas division and no one would really feel all that good about a Kaitlyn win, but I'll take that over Cesaro losing.

Prediction: Eve retains the Divas Championship.

3MB vs. Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel: This is the free preview match that will air on Youtube. It was originally listed as Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal vs. Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. They are no playing up the question of which two members of 3MB will compete against the replacement babyface duo. There was no explanation for the babyface team switch, but it does appear that Drew McIntyre will return after missing time due to the death of his mother. It's good to see Kidd and Gabriel getting more work as a tag team. Here's hoping they go over and creative gets behind the team.

Prediction: Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel win.
