Show Grade: C-

  • WWE made me stop caring about the Diva's division by having the top babyface in the division retain her title with roll-ups two months in a row.

  • Mark Henry's post-match promo was one of the best heel promos WWE has had in years.

  • WWE proved that the Money in the Bank contact and Alberto Del Rio don't matter by having John Cena once again win the WWE Championship.

  • C.M. Punk and Triple H were having an amazing match until all of the overbooking.

  • Despite the amount of overbooking, WWE never lost the crowd. If you're going to resort to those methods, it's important that it brings a crowd more into a match rather than take them out of it entirely, and WWE did an excellent job with that tonight.

Replay Verdict: Unless you are a fan of John Cena, I would not recommend ordering the replay of the show. The highlights will be replayed ad nauseum in the next week, and the majority of the show just felt like filler.

Show Grade: C

  • This was a one match show going in and that match delivered excitement, but not a whole lot of substance and satisfaction.

  • This was a newsworthy show, with both the World and WWE Championships changing hands, but that hardly seems like a happening anymore since it also happened at the last two pay-per-views.

  • The end of Triple H vs. C.M. Punk was a bit of a disaster with two referees, John Laurinaitis, The Miz, R-Truth and Kevin Nash all getting involved. It was too much and took away from the match that before it broke down.

  • John Cena becoming WWE Champion again in a clean fashion did nothing for Cena, Alberto Del Rio or anyone else. If this is they're plan to bring up slumping Raw ratings, then WWE does not realize why they are failing.

  • Mark Henry's big moment was a happening tonight and the promo that followed his win was the moment of the night.

Replay Verdict: If you have to see every title change, watch this show. If not then don't bother. Punk and Triple H will have better, cleaner matches and all the rest will probably be on Hell in a Cell anyways.

  • I'm still pumped from that Mark Henry promo. I'm not even sure I would change anything about it even if I sat down and played Monday Morning Quarterback. It was excellent.

  • I was glad to see Dolph Ziggler retain his title. I didn't predict it, but the way it went down continues the story they've been telling and really put over the U.S. Title. I look forward to watching that story play out.

  • I'm really bummed out about the way the Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly match played out. I was actually very happy with the action, but I think Beth was harmed by the finish. I hope they can save this one creatively, otherwise Kelly has really made Beth and Natty look pretty silly.

  • I vomited in my mouth a little when John Cena won the WWE Championship clean from Alberto Del Rio. I had Chili for dinner tonight, so as you can imagine, it was an equally tense and depressing couple of minutes.

  • The end to the Triple H and C.M. Punk match was overbooked to the point that I thought they might pull a WCW Halloween Havoc 98 and just have the damn thing go off the air before we saw a finish. That might have been preferable to what we saw, actually. If C.M. Punk doesn't win at the next PPV, they will have completely squandered the moment that carried them out of Money in the Bank.

Replay Verdict: If you order this replay for anything, I would say Order it for Mark Henry's promo. But that moment enough wouldn't sell me on shelling out 50 bucks, so unless you love John Cena and overbooked Main Events, I'd take a pass on this one.
