Pruett's TNA Against All Odds Preview and Predictions: Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson in a Ladder Match, Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett, Bully Ray vs. Brother Devon, Matt Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam

The following predictions are made with no inside knowledge or fortune telling abilities. They are simply guesses and we all know how much Vince Russo loves to be unpredictable.

-Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match for the TNA World Championship: Remember in 2006 when Edge won the WWE Championship for the first time and they never switched the belt back from the Cena custom design (before we knew that the WWE Championship would keep that design for years)? Could we see Jeff Hardy regain the title just like Cena did? Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson have yet to have a standard one on one match in TNA, so this Ladder Match makes it look like they are skipping a step or two in the booking.

As a prediction, I believe that Mr. Anderson will retain with some help from Fortune when Immortal tries to get involved in that match.

-Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett (with Karen Jarrett) for custody of Kurt and Karen's kids: So much seems wrong with that stipulation on a wrestling show. I don't mind the involvement of Karen Jarrett, as she is a quality performer that can add a lot to the show. I expect a lot of outside interference in this match, but at it's heart, it will be a great match. Jarrett and Angle had a really nice series that never came to an end a couple years ago and they should pick up where they left off. I'll pick Jeff Jarrett to win this one with some help from Karen and Immortal.

-Rob Van Dam vs. Matt Hardy: This has to be better than their match last month. Matt Hardy looks like he is starting to get into better shape and I hope that shows in this one. Once again, I expect a lot of Immortal involvement. Matt Hardy needs to look good as Immortal moves into their feud with Fortune so I'll pick Matt to go over RVD.

-Madison Rayne vs. Mickie James in a Last Man Standing Match for the TNA Knockouts Championship: Mickie James has proven that she can brawl (see her series with Tara). She has also proven how easy it is to be just another Knockout in TNA. She has not been made to be anything social since entering the company. This should have been a major match, but now it just seems like an afterthought. Mickie has been chasing the Championship for a while and I'll pick her to win it here.

-Brother Devon and his sons vs. Bully Ray in a Handicap Street Fight: The former Team 3D know how to brawl. This match will excite the Impact Zone, but most likely look like every other brawl they have had to the pay-per-view audience. Devon already got the best of Ray on Impact this week, so my motivation to see this match has decreased significantly. The one on three aspect of the match leads me to believe that someone Bully Ray will win this one and we will see another month of Devon vs. Ray.

-Samoa Joe vs. "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero: Why didn't this match happen at last month's Genesis show? Also, what are both of these men doing? Dinero looked to be on a promising rise last year, but ever since getting injured he has lost something. Joe is still floundering in the TNA mid-card, despite being one of the most over acts in the company. This match seems like a toss up, but I believe that TNA probably sees more upward mobility in Dinero, so I'll pick him to win.

-Robbie E. vs. Max Buck vs. Jeremy Buck in a X-Division No. 1 Contenders Match: This seems like attempt number 436 to rebuild the X-Division in TNA. Hopefully this one sticks. All three of these men are heels vying for the chance to fight the newly turned babyface champion in Kazarian. Normally I would try to predict where the story I'd going, but there isn't much of one. Since TNA loves breaking up quality tag teams, I'll go with Robbie E. winning when Max hits Jeremy.

-Beer Money and Scott Steiner vs. Rob Terry, Gunner and Murphy: I can't be the only person eagerly anticipating the Steiner and Terry confrontation. All right, so I probably am. This match screams thrown together, which is sad since it includes the best tag team in the world in Beer Money. Terry, Gunner and Murphy are a combination of very green wrestlers that may not be able to hold up their end of the match. Despite that, I'll pick them to win since Immortal needs credibility and these three men do not have it right now.

That's all for TNA this month. Next month I'd go with Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Jarrett for the TNA Championship and Beer Money vs. Matt and Jeff Hardy as the co-main events. I'll be tweeting during the show at twitter.com/itswilltime and might be taking part in the conversation in the Dot Net members forum.
