-Serena was released by WWE. So again, I ask the question, if John Cena did the same thing Serena did, would he have been released? It's really not about what you do; it is about who you are.
-I was asked a lot during the week why I didn't mention the debut of Alberto del Rio. Well, he annoys the crap out of me. However, not sure if it is good heat or bad heat, so I'll hold off judgment for now.
-Bobby Lashley now has a loss in MMA and most likely, a date with Dave Bautista (Batista).
-Attraction fights are bittersweet because in reality, it is two guys that shouldn't be on pay-per-view in the first place, but they had done something in their past to warrant reactions from audiences, enough to want to see them fight.
-I'm sure a Lashley vs. Batista shuffleboard game, hot dog eating contest, or race to see who could change the most diapers would sell on pay-per-view too.
-While we are talking about people that may not belong in MMA, James Toney fights Randy Couture tonight. Toney is a former multi-time boxing World Champion, so he better knock Randy out before he is taken to the ground.
-B.J. Penn vs. Frankie Edgar highlights tonight's event. If this were boxing, I would not be surprised to see a finish that would set up a rubber match third fight. I have Edgar winning tonight.
-I'm thrilled TNA will debut Jersey Shore inspired characters. I've managed to avoid that level of doucheocity up until now.
-I have a feeling we are going to see a feud over the usage of the name and theme music for The Beautiful People. You can only throw Angelina Love and Madison Rayne out there so many times.
-Does anyone put on a belt (for your pants) clockwise? I go left to right with mine and realized I always have, so it got me to wondering if anyone goes from right to left.
-WWE NXT season two concludes on Tuesday with Kaval, Michael McGillicutty, and Alex Riley in the finals. Again, shouldn't there be only two people in the finals of anything? Anyway, Kaval will win.
-The fact that Raw is having their 900th episode is pretty impressive. However, a lot of those early shows were absolute crap. Rob Bartlett? Remember him?
-I wonder if we will get any Damien Demento footage from that first episode of Raw when he worked with Undertaker.
-Next year, more than any thus far, will be heavy with "Randy Savage to the WWE Hall of Fame" hype. I hope he gets in as he is truly one of the best ever.
-Hopefully Thursday's on air appearance by Serg Salinas, the husband of Dixie Carter, was a one time thing. Let's focus on the talent, not the brass.
-If you look at the talent in TNA, with Fortune and the top four guys in the TNA Title Tournament, they have the potential to get a lot of things right. Let's hope they do.
-Fortune needs to start winning matches. There is money there if they don't have their legs cut out from under them.
-I'm glad the Motor City Machine Guns are finally getting a run with the TNA Tag Titles, but with the timing of Fortune, it would be nice for Beer Money to have the straps right now.
-Thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes. To hell with those of you that did not. Just kidding. This was my absolute favorite of all of my birthdays.
-Speaking of birthdays, Vince McMahon turned 65 this past week. I know he has been on television for a very long time, but it is still hard to believe he is that old.
-Ric Flair is old, but damn, he still has it. Great mic work by Flair on Thursday's Impact.
-RIP Luna Vachon and Tony Bourne.
