New TNA signee Bobby Lashley will not fight Fedor Emelianenko at this weekend's Affliction event

New TNA star and MMA fighter Bobby Lashley was on the short list of fighters to replace Josh Barnett in this weekend's Affliction event, but will not fight Fedor Emelianenko. Instead, Vitor Belfort will take the fight.
Twill's Two Cents: Had Lashley taken this fight and lost, despite the built-in "short notice" defense, it would have been a huge setback. The fact Lashley was considered should be seen as an honor, because it shows he already has name value in MMA.
